Our gas down here comes from the Gulf so we are literally creating our own shortages by doing this... Have you ever been through hurricane season? THAT is when you worry about gas.

You are definitely going to the wrong parts of Florida. Miami and the surrounding areas are a shit hole, same with Orlando. Most of the rest of Florida is based and conservative. Source: Lived here my entire life (30+ years).
