He is sort of an internet phenomenon dating back to the aughts, so a lot of people in a lot of different circles either follow his story (he is what is known as a 'lolcow' someone whose online or real life antics are so bizarre or self destructive that one can sustainably derive 'lolz' from them) or know about him tangentially. He has been around so long his wiki (the cwciki) is a bit of a rabbit hole.
I wouldn't call it a win as far as that goes though.
I dont know anyone who has had clots (yet), but unlike coronavirus, every one I know who has gotten it has had bad reactions to it, no matter the shot. Up to and including fucking blood poisoning. Most of my siblings have got it, my department at work, and my wife's family. My neighbors. I'm scared of what might be coming this flu season.
