They were just doing their jobs. We know the lead Georgia ballot lady was getting a hundred bucks an hour and since her normal wage was substantially less, she wouldn’t have thought about the fact she was committing treason - somebody in charge told her what to do, she did it, and she got paid.

It seems to be standard mafia stuff - break the law a little, and they own you. Nobody goes full criminal in the beginning - it’s a process.

That has to be some awesome genetic engineering because that it is not natural.

💡

Do you think it could be something for else, like an attempt at totalitarian control of the population?

No, that would be a total conspiracy theory - so much easier to believe there is a virus that can do math and count how many people are in the room before deciding to infect them….

Yeah, I don’t care enough to bother. I saw the crime statistics before Deblasio, and AFTER Deblasio, so go fuck yourself.

The city seemed to be safer when they did that. Weird.

Was there ever any justice for the person who poisoned you? Was it a prank gone wrong or a murder attempt? (I also wanted to know if your body “recovered” but saw your answer in another comment.)

I am sorry you went through this, even if it did make you stronger.

I’d watch. So would my spouse. And my kids. And I’d rewatch it a bunch.

Sigh. What a pleasant thought. ?

I taught CPR for the American Red Cross for over a decade, and one of the issues we discussed was the tendency of people having an urgent health crisis to immediately go into denial, or think getting into a car and driving to a hospital was wisdom (instead of calling for an ambulance, back in the olden days when this wasn’t a thousand dollar expense). My personal theory has always been the herd mentality of not wanting to be “weak” because everyone knows the “old and weak” are prey for the predators, and this is probably ancient survival instinct, but whatever it is, it goes deep. We were told we increased the chances for survival just by making people aware of the signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke. I pray it helped.

Seriously? Do you think the New York sheep are actually getting accurate vote counting done? They have the same machine that exists in Detroit and Chicago.

When something works, it tends to get repeated. See assassination and election fraud.

Republicans should always take advice from Democrats on how to please their base. /s

I specifically stated at one point that it didn’t matter what color you were, if you shot a police officer, it was not good. I also said that “firing a warning shot at police officers” is Not Acceptable. Apparently in the new world order, I’m a Racist for these view points.

That came up in the conversation. Apparently being “color blind” makes me a racist since it negates the black experience.

I was asked to leave the place where I volunteer my time. The person in charge wanted my accuser to be heard, and let them say “mean words” in front of my (former?) colleagues. Still trying to decide if I want to walk away, or make a point (hence the need for wisdom).

My accuser cried actual tears at my racism (very dramatically). I am still ... confused?

Psychic physicians in the family are just awesome, right?
