One of the biggest problems for homeless vets is that people read a headline about homeless vets or his sign that he's holding, then be outraged, then say something about how we "need to pray for... ". Prayer is excellent, and everyone should do it. But what happens is the initial outrage you experience is supposed to spur you to action so as to resolve the uncomfortable outrage. But since the "pray for" sentiment is rallied around and feels good, most of the time that's the end of it. People have decided to offload any work or effort they may have to spend, to God.

Look, prayer is great. Use it myself. A lot. But I understand why a lot of people roll their eyes at the notion.

Tons and tons of posts I've read on this site about ditching all manner of family. Spouses, parents, children, and myriad friendships. Especially around the holidays is when it comes out mostly. Xmas and Thanksgiving are especially rough.

Well they are an olde publication, so..

I think they've been publishing since before 1776. I may be wrong about that. Lol.

Edit for: 1857! Pretty damn ass old

It does work for a lot of people. But life's not fair and bad things happen to good people and vice versa. I'm glad you ended up overcoming what you regret and managing a fulfilling life anyway. But I know a lot of people that got degrees and then jobs in their chosen field. No, it doesn't happen for everyone. But I'm grabbing a masters to make 20k more and it will easily be worth it. Wife talked me into it after she pulled it off.

I wouldn't be too envious. People that hate are beset with insecurities and inferiority complexes. They have a lot of shame other wise they wouldn't be obsessed with the perceived shortcomings of total strangers and adopt "beleaguered" and "embattled" as an identity. I feel sorry for them.

First off it isn't Biden. He's been replaced with an actor by The White Hats and they are in control and have been sending money to the war to show people around the world how bad it can get. When they hate Biden bad enough they'll reveal he was an actor and that Donald Trump and The White Hats (the good guys) were IN CONTROL the whole time. Then the war will end and Trump and Putin will be celebrated and praised.

Yeah it sounds pretty manipulative. Fear tactics. "Feel this way!". As Americans we either are hyper aware of advertising tactics and so it doesn't work on us, or we've had so much of it that we don't know the difference between propaganda and reality. I'm just hyper allergic to coercion, myself.

We already learned a while back that all of the "conspiracy theories" are true. It's hard to break free of the programming.

I haven't run up against any resistance whatsoever. I see a lot of people with an interest in trying to convince me I'm in danger or being persecuted and that I'm actually not just watching a movie. On one hand were encouraged to panic and fear and on the other we have nothing to fear but fear itself. Maybe once my family or myself are persecuted or once I feel like I can't defend myself I'll become a victim. I'm just there yet and that's just not the world I live in. Midwest. America. Pretty dope.

Terrible, but unbelievably rare. With this many people unfortunately we can expect the predictable outliers to make news and we can expect "news" to sensationalize an event and attempt to capture clicks over it. Then we can expect the outlier and/or the event, to become politicized. And voila, we've generated energy potential stored as outrage.

Micro dosing of Psilocybe cubensis 3 to 4 times a week, and a 3 gram dose most Friday mornings before a several hour walk and talk with a good friend is such a wonderful thing. With 1, sometimes 2, yearly 5 gram doses. Everyone should have a 5 gram dose once in their life. But micro dosing will cure depression and give you a huge advantage on quitting things that are difficult to quit. Smoking and drinking ceased to attract me after a heroic dose last summer.

I'm gonna read the article now. Lol. Don't even think it's about "shrooms" shrooms. Lol. Im surprised big pharma hasn't done more to keep the truth about shrooms secret. Historically they have I guess, but recently it feels like the damn has broke and everyone is eating micro doses now.
It's a great thing.
