Terrible news for you and your family. BUT know that you are stronger than them because you didn't bow down to the mandates and false stories like they have. You saved your own life and maybe the familys. You took the lead, your family is watching so embrace your new position, showing them what a strong Patriot, father, husband looks like and that tough decisions are not easy. I truly believe that a few phone calls with your connections will land you an interview and possibly a new job. Hang in there and enjoy the sabbatical for now. Keep your ears open, stay connected to former coworkers as it's highly probable there could be Legal action against your former employer.

My fiancé is dealing with depression and has been for over 20 yrs but with our togetherness it's become less. Unfortunately he still continues his meds, he's taken it for about 4 yrs and insists he still needs it. I don't think so, I try to keep him talking, busy, etc. I dealt with us personally after my husbands deah 2.5 yrs ago .... I tried to resist it but it sneaks in and takes over. I must agree with the others that you need to get out, even if it's a walk in the neighborhood. When the weather doesn't agree with you, turn on the music, relaxing or Jazz is very soothing and a candle (neutral scents). These things help reset your psychy, only allow good memories, the ones that make you smile. You hold the controls, don't allow hateful/negative thoughts which will only bring you back to the dark mood. Add God to your day, pray to him 🙏when you first wake up (and possibly before sleep). He will change your day.
Remember the moto 'Just Do It". You will be so thankful you did it.
Wish we had some insight. Waiting waiting waiting gets old. But ... I have full confidence in our President Trump, to do what he must to get America back on the good track.

I'm there too. Pounded a few siblings and woke them, now keeping them updated is heavy maintenance but a 'must do'. I'm excited they're on board.
