I was given the normal childhood vaccines as a child (wasn’t given a choice as I was a child). I had chicken pox and the measles at the same time at the age of 8. Mumps when I was nine. My kids were given the same childhood vaccines in the ‘80’s, because I didn’t know better.
I became semi anti vax after my first and only flu shot decades ago. I had a severe allergic reaction to it and got the flu as well; and about a year later found that I am one the few that is allergic to just about any medication on the market (prescription or over the counter); not to mention the food and chemical allergies that I’d never had before that. I started researching then and have refused any vax since nor have I allowed my kids to get them. They are adults know and can make their own choices.
The minute that slimy weasel starting talking the hair on the back of my neck stood right up and I said nope, not happening.

Most major supermarkets carry it under their own label. Even dollar general here where I’m at carries it (don’t recommend this one, it’s extremely bitter).
I’ve had to have one tie rod replaced, and the brakes had to be done every six months while running the mail. I’ve had the rear end rebuilt twice. Engine and transmission are original and haven’t had any problems there so far.

I’m a stickler for maintenance schedules. She made all her appointments for oil, filters, transmission maintenance. My dad taught me to keep up the maintenance on my vehicles and they last forever.
We didn’t have that capability where I worked as a carrier for my local post office. There are only three of us at the post office; the post master, assistant post master and the rural route carrier.
We don’t deliver in town, the boxes are free at the post office here because we do not deliver in town. We don’t even have an LLV.
The main truck comes from the hub and delivers to the smaller towns. In our case it arrived by 7:45 am, and we are the last stop on its route. The driver has a camper in our town that he stayed in until time to pick up the outgoing mail at 3pm and then made the circle back through all the smaller towns and then on to the hub.
Fed-ex showed up about 10am, after I’d already left on my route to deliver the mail and UPS showed up around noon. Those packages were delivered the next day.
So, in my case, if any pics were done, it was done at the hub. All we had were scanners for the bar codes on packages or registered letters.
Although, when I retired 5 years ago, the new scanners could do a lot more than just scan the packages. They could talk to you thru them, video you while you were doing your route (that’s why I kept it turned upside down, all they could see was the seat), track exactly where you were located, and more.
My last straw was when they decided to require that my personal vehicle that I used to deliver mail in could not be over 3 years old and had to have less than 80,000 miles on it; and it had to be a van with sliding doors.
My route was 118 miles a day. I drove that route for 18 years in my full size pickup. I still have that truck today and she’s got 338,000 miles on her now. Still runs like a champ. I still drive her everywhere I go.
SE New Mexico showing all different kinds of movies thru the 10th, no 355 as of today.
Southern Panhandle, one movie theater showing nothing but 355 after the sixth. There are several movie theaters there, have only checked the one so far.
Thing is, can’t buy tickets on line for either theater. Says they are sold out.
No big deal in my book, I don’t go to movie theaters and haven’t in decades. The last movie I watched at a theater was Jaws and it was a drive in theater.
I’ll believe it when I see it.

Most important of all, ENFORCE THE LAWS ON THE BOOKS ALREADY!
Three presidents rounded up illegals and sent them back to their countries of origin, Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower (13-22 million or more between the three). They used buses, trains, planes, and ships. If the government can track patriots, they can track illegals.
They know exactly where they are, who they are, and how many there are. Just follow the taxpayer money being spent to support them.
So sorry for your loss. My little brother passed in 2009 do to an over dose of pain meds, because of workmans comp doctors not telling him to stop taking the one pain med before starting the other one. I was there and specifically asked if he should stop taking the first one and they said no, it would be fine.
There was a law suit and his kids won, but we still lost him. I miss him terribly, but know I’ll get to see him again. It does get easier with time. I just remember the good times we had growing up together and after we became adults.

Lol…….our local five and dime finally got a full truck delivery last week and were completely out of stock in two days.
Cold remedies, vitiamins, wound dressings and creams, alcohol, peroxide, tissues and toilet paper.
Non perishable food stuffs, water, batteries, etc., etc. Word is getting out.
Not all areas have the sirens. However, NOAA weather radios help.
I have found in my little corner of the world that handheld scanners (local law enforcement channels) get vital weather info 10 to 20 minutes before it’s ever put out on a news broadcast. You can listen for a lot more if you chose to do so. Ours is for weather or fire related problems because we are so far from town out in the middle of nowhere.
I’m in a semi desert area, mostly flat, with some trees, and out in the country, few buildings. The ones that I have range between 3 and 4 miles.
Depends on where you are at and what the terrain is and what the obstacles are. The more buildings, trees, and hills you have, the smaller the range.
