Chihuahuas rock. Right now we have Sugar and Gypsy. Josephine went to the Rainbow Bridge last year. Before her went Rosie, Tess, Roxanne and Scooter. And, last but not least, our little Chica. We miss them every day.

The only poems I can think of at the moment are the ones I want read at my funeral, lol. An Irish Airman Foresees His Death by Yeats, and Sea Fever by John Masefield. They're probably going to read Flanders' Fields by MacRae too.

Gacy was one evil dude. Holy cow, those eyes. Spawn of the devil.

One reason I sleep well at night is that I can conclude with 100% confidence that if they ever tried to bring that stuff here in rural east Tennessee, they're going to met by a bunch of gun-toting, Trump-loving rednecks who are going to have a field day running their misguided candy-asses right into the ground, six feet under.

I worked in Aurora for about a year, in a 6-12 school. Man, am I glad I came to my senses and moved out of Colorado. The entire Denver area is a perfect example of a place one wouldn't want to live in - outrageous housing, homelessness up the wazoo, the smell of marijuana permeating everything, gangs, social strife, crime. Ugh.

I remember way back when when I went so close to the edge and tried to rationalize not being alive anymore. By hook or crook, I survived, and know the pain and sorrow some people will experience before they take the final step. Eerie in a way. They will conclude in their own minds that there is no way out. It is surreal. Having been that far, I know.

I think most of us have been prepared for a while, based upon the postings on this board.

Ever since that whole event occurred, I have felt there just wasn't something right about the whole deal.

Truth be known, I miss the CNN death ticker always running at the bottom of the screen.

Hey now, in his defense, the 16% who voted yes were bots. C'mon, man! 😂

Someone help me out here. I'm thinking of an old black and white movie, I think it had Humphrey Bogart in it. They were on a ship that was being strafed by a German plane, and they were able to shoot the plane down. The survivors were standing on the wreckage of the wing and Bogart shot them. Some dude in the radio shack on the ship tried to get a message off and Bogart went after him and killed him. Fauci reminds me of that rat, and I wonder if he realizes his days may be numbered.

EDIT: Never mind, found it. Passage to Marseilles (1942). Bogart doesn't get the radio operator, but he does shoot the survivors of the downed plane.

I'm a disabled vet but have not and will not get one of those passes. Yeah, I'm probably considered an idiot, but to me it's just not worth the hassle because I refuse to be seen as a charity case, and these days there's always someone standing by to make a federal case about it.
