Great point. I just posted this in case someone else missed it. Personally, I think O'Reilly is the biggest blowhard out there, and as far as Dom, I let the board decide. The notion itself of Biden stepping down [or staying in, for that matter] is sure to drive the debate at least for the next week, if not all the way to the convention.

For those who do not subscribe to or get X, apparently Bill O'Reilly, like him or hate him, says that Biden has decided not to seek re-election and that the White House is trying to figure out how to say that. I have a saltshaker with many grains in it, for those interested.

Top of the pops every week, Fester. The one with the woman screaming at the cat and Jill screaming at Trump is priceless.

Still surprised somewhat at the behavior of the moderators. For the most part, they were fair and stuck to reminding the two about time, and at least they weren't as overly anti-Trump as they are daily.

Point taken, but people need to realize the reason why Trump is so popular is that at any moment, he can tell others to go pound sand, which is exactly what is needed, especially now. I see too many people who haven't made up their minds yet, and my first thought is "where the hell have you been?" He can have the world's most caustic personality, but if he gets the job done, he gets it done his way - and his way worked. It's bullshit that people vote strictly on personality.

The most powerful two words on that post are the last two: "Be vigilant." If that means what I think it means, we're entering into another dimension.

Why do I keep getting this nagging thought in my head that the pick will be John John? I know Q said he wasn't alive, but then I've seen a hundred times that disinformation was necessary. Damn, I spend too much time on the damned internet.

I have half a bottle of Grant's Scotch and that son of a bitch is going to be empty by 11, I can almost guarantee it 100%.

This is going to turn out to be a comedic waste of time. I'm pretty sure that people have already made up their minds and nothing is likely to change that.

I also got to thinking that there's more to this debate than what we're seeing. My first question was, why in the world would Trump agree to the format set forth? From the outset, it looks like a massive trap - but then when I considered how masterful Trump is at just about anything, my thoughts turned to him possibly / probably exposing them, thus, they would fall into a trap. Nevertheless, I feel that something we don't know about is afoot.

Now I have seen three references on X regarding Trump's pick is going to be Vivek. Of course, you knew already that the speculation regarding this has been crazy lately. I didn't really want to post the links as I like to make sure of stuff before I go down that road, but I have heard both good and bad about the guy for some time now. I went back and watched his performance at that Republic primary debate and I'll tell you, he went after the others guns blazing. Could be an interesting choice.

Now I'm going to have to go out and get a tank recliner, lol. Thanks again, Fester 😊

X / Twitter has been acting weird lately. Page won't load, IRL address bar keeps cycling. I know Musk is redesigning the format [going to dark mode] but I wonder if something else is afoot. Update: it loaded a minute after I posted this, but it is still weird. Just curious of anyone noticed anything.

My sentiments as well. For nearly four years now, I have mentioned this site to people, and only a couple have actually done the work and come here to see what GAW has to say. The rest of them? A bunch of ignorant dumbfucks who have their heads buried in the sand. At first I tried to reason with them, but nope, little or no progress. I forget where it say something about there are 6-10% of the population who will never get it [or something to that effect]. I say, if people aren't awake by now, they can go to hell. At some point they're going to have to do the legwork, and if they want to remain blissfully ignorant, let them wither on the vine and die.

Classic, Fester. Particularly funny ones this morning. "Cornbread not done in the middle" - 😂

Your last paragraph begs the question: don't you think the deep-staters have people capable of interpreting "coded" speak just as we're expected to do? As much as I hate to admit it, I used to religiously listen to JOS and my wife even bought his book - although it took six months to get it and that was only after she threatened to report the transaction to the Better Business Bureau. Over the past year and a half, however, he became tiresome, then annoying, then condescending, and we finally determined that 1) he likes to hear himself talk, 2) the "I'm only gonna let you see my boot" borders on being as disingenuous as one can be, 3) he claims he is friends with Trump when Trump has not ever [to our knowledge] mentioned him, 4) biblical stories and comparisons might be fine, but he uses them way too much, and 5) it's time to get to the fucking point - he can say a whole lotta nothing for an hour, leading the listener to believe he is going to draw some understandable, ground-breaking conclusion that's going to leave us all stunned. Bullshit. If you check the X feeds, they're all over this guy, at least on Nino's account: grifter, charlatan, paytriot, blowhard, whatever...and as bad as this may be, my wife and I [and no, we don't claim to speak for anyone but ourselves] feel that we've been duped. Granted, no one forced us to listen to this guy - we were looking for answers just like everyone else - but something smells rotten in Denmark, and I frankly can't stand the guy anymore.

I heard that too, and have known for a while that nicotine is not as bad as people make it out to be. I did notice a benefit when I stopped smoking and vaping and switched to the gum - mentally I am sharper now than I ever was when I was younger working on nuclear reactors. The wife did some research too and this appeared to corroborate the benefits. Thanks for the info.

I'm chewing nicotine gum like it's fucking going out of style.

Thanks Mary, just got this, haven't been on for a while. We didn't get whacked as hard as others, but storms were still pretty powerful. Thanks for asking Hon.
