Ok, so the TV remote in the living area is still straight up, assuming that's how it is placed when a guest enters for the first time. There appears to be another remote in the bedroom, same position. That means he never used the TV and placed all his items around the remote, or he used the remote and placed it back in the upright position. Take another look at the nightstand and picture all the items gone except the remote, then put them back. How does that remote remain upright with all those items on the nightstand?
