White House posted this photo alongside one of Trump meeting him back during his first term.

Thanks! I’m an optimist at heart so I hope strongly for the best while preparing for the worst. Either way, stay frosty and stay safe. Big things are happening in the background but I am positive we will see it all come to light someday. :)

I remember when there were videos of Japanese people marching out in droves to support President Trump. I guess the MSM is just as bad there as it is stateside?

It’d be even better if all these new vehicles were actually reliable again. It’s not difficult for Ford, GM, and all the rest to not only make cars HERE again, but to make them LAST. For example, a reason why the older (late 80s through 2000s) made-in-Japan Toyotas, Hondas are still on the road to this day. There’s a strong work ethic there and the people believe very highly in quality work and a deep dedication to their craft.

I hope that includes making null and void all Acts, bills, etc related to gun control. e.g. NFA of 1934, GCA in the 60s, Hughes Amendment in 1986 (aka the one that banned the sale of machine guns manufactured after that year to us “civilians”), just to name a few on the federal level.

Another interesting thing, this version is actually the epilogue in the musical. There is “Do You Hear the People Sing?” (The actual song before the fighting starts at the barricades) and then there is a reprise of it as part of the epilogue at the end before curtain call.

Les Misérables (Original Broadway Cast Recording) 1987 Disc 2 - Track 17 - Finale “Les Miserables” The first half is a duet with Jean Valjean on his deathbed with Cossette by his side, then “Do You Hear the People Sing” starts at 2:57 with the entire cast singing together.

Lyrics:

Do you hear the people sing?

Lost in the valley of the night

It is the music of a people who are climbing to the light

For the wretched of the earth

There is a flame that never dies

Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise

They will live again in freedom in the garden of the Lord

They will walk behind the ploughshare

They will put away the sword

The chain will be broken and all men will have their reward

Will you join in our crusade?

Who will be strong and stand with me?

Somewhere beyond the barricade, is there a world you long to see?

Do you hear the people sing? Say, do you hear the distant drums?

It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes

Will you join in our crusade?

Who will be strong and stand with me?

Somewhere beyond the barricade, is there a world you long to see?

Do you hear the people sing? Say, do you hear the distant drums?

It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes

Tomorrow comes!

The community note under this is PATHETIC. “Zelensky has said he will wear suits when the war is over.” Even when your country is in an active state of war, YOU (as the supposed “leader” of Ukraine) should, at the bare minimum, have a modicum of respect when visiting the Oval Office, and meeting OUR President. Wearing a suit and tie is the rule, not the exception.

While he’s in America, Shigeru needs to rein Toyota and Honda in. Both are still pushing woke and dei here stateside. Not sure about what they’re pushing domestically on the Japanese people. But I hope he at least has some power/authority over them to make them stop, given that historically a lot of these conglomerates have a heavy influence on the government there, and vice versa.

Interesting… remember when Putin said the “vampire’s ball is ending” and how the “elites fill their bellies with human flesh”? Now POTUS mentions offering to build a ballroom? Potential comms here or am I overreaching?

I’d take it a step further, enshrine constitutional carry (open AND concealed) in all states and territories, repeal the NFA, GCA, and all the other BS laws, and refund everyone who paid a $250 “tax” just to own a suppressor, sawed-off shotgun, MG, etc. Oh, and there’s also an obscure law that needs to be repealed as well. It’s called the Hughes Amendment and it was slipped into the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986. Basically that one banned any machine gun manufactured after 1986 from being sold to regular citizens. Cops and the military are exempt, which of course they are. They don’t want us to be as well-armed as their own goons.

I have an idea, might be worth it, might be not. Let’s invite all the truckers and anybody who had their bank accounts frozen during the freedom convoy. Give them a path to citizenship and a medal for their courage. After a round or two of proper vetting, of course, don’t want to see foreign feds getting rewarded. It would also result in a shortage of truckers up there as well. See how quick Castro Jr. rolls back his “retaliatory tariffs” when we’ve essentially blockaded them. We can surely survive without your exports. For example, it’s high time Ford, GM, and all the rest come back to America anyway. The cars made up there and in Mexico have some of the worst engines and transmissions.

She’s really hard to listen to… but I think it’s interesting that the firing of the head of the Las Vegas field office was mentioned specifically. I bet there will be plenty of dark things to be revealed about that city in the near future.

Take me for example. Currently, I am in the process of getting in shape and losing weight, so I’m not physically eligible yet. I did, however, get a good score on the ASVAB back in high school, an 83 to be exact (MEQS score, the one that matters, unfortunately it expired after two years but I think that’s a good sign regardless.) I took JROTC for all four years and got a few ribbons for good conduct and grades. That means I should be eligible for advanced enlistment as well at a higher rank. (according to my research, you can start at E-3 with four years of JROTC). In my senior year, I contacted an AF recruiter out of curiosity and immediately got told I was disqualified from enlistment when I said I was autistic.

Any idea on how to put in a suggestion/request about recruiting for DoD towards whoever’s temporarily in charge for now until Hegseth is confirmed? Didn’t think this was on topic so I’m asking here. Thanks! For some context, I’m high-functioning autistic and I heard there’s some kind of blanket rule that automatically disqualifies people with that specific diagnosis, among many other conditions.

Strange how they’re supporting this now… by the way Lake absolutely won by a landslide had there not been cheating. I may be huffing too much hopium but I absolutely believe there HAS to be a larger role for her besides being named head of VoA. She had the governorship AND a Senate seat stolen from her, we all know it, and it would be a great travesty of justice in my opinion to not let her reclaim at least one of those two seats.

I was really bummed out when everybody out there was turned away. “Fire marshal’s orders, arena’s at full capacity”, Homeland Security said. I wish Turning Point would have at least provided some kind of overflow area outside with speakers and a monitor. But instead the organizers just said to “pull up a livestream” on our phones. This was gonna be my very first rally, and we all ended up leaving.

Of course they could only bring this up in Austin. Anywhere outside of the big cities (DFW, San Antonio, etc.), this would have been laughed out of court. They should appeal and get this to SC. Maybe AG Paxton will step in too?
