Children ARE NOT interested in this stuff! They are forcing genitalia on innocent minds!

LGBTQ+ is meaningless. How can you have pride in a designation that you don't even know what all it includes??

It is an obvious attempt to prevent children from being able to read about their past.

Languages too. My father's generation learned Latin in public schools! Some learned Greek also.

Now they are taught ebonics to be able to communicate with non-standard language, in which no classic literature is written.

Old English is hard enough to read; I have been able to "read" or extract from handwritten scrawls in Latin, German, French and Spanish.

OH MY is it hard! I will fight through Old English and German writing, and do my best to recognize names and key words in the other languages.

Yes, that is the difference I see.

I have heard that "free speech" allows one to speak, but there is no right to be heard, or accepted as a member of civil society . . .

"So again, are face and neck tattoos — particularly excessive ones — abhorrent?"

Some like this one are not only abhorrent but actively, aggressively threatening. Intimidating others, on purpose.

Free speech / art means I don't have to see it or buy it or go to that gallery.

This is too much in other people's faces.

P.S. more thoughts

Sound expression is more akin to "free speech" than visual "art" yet there are noise standards to prevent neighbors from being exposed to ear-blasting "music" and pedestrians from "ear blasting" from cars which make the cars vibrate. Imagine what it does to your ear drums and nervous system! Sound waves not only hit your ear drums, but all of the body's nervous system; think bass.

Is "gore porn" protected "speech" on city streets?? 8kun used to be attacked by post after post of gore porn; one could not hide the post after post after post without seeing them first! So I had to leave the site, as intended by the spammers. No matter if they were taken off later, one cannot "unsee".

Similarly, one cannot "unsee" tats obviously intended to intimidate, nor erase the logical response of the nervous system experiencing threat!

Especially frightening for children. My kid was so scared by some Halloween costumes she was literally shaking, even though I took her out early to avoid teens in horrible masks.

There are community standards, and "breaching the peace" was a very valid counterpoint to sounds and images intending indeed to disturb the peace.

Besides, face and neck tattoos cause brain damage from inks leaking into the body. /s and also /not s.

Plus the law does not arrest anyone expressing body "art"! It is regulating the tattoo business in its state.

The dems love forced aka slave labor. Who said the USA was "post-industrial" and we cannot pay a fair wage to first world workers?? Who pushed our industries to China, etc.?

Artificially created babies (IVF with outside the family donors, surrogacy e.g. womb for hire, etc.) will want to know who their biological parents were, as adopted children sometimes spend decades of time and HOPE to find theirs!

It is a very natural and understandable instinct, no matter how loving the adoptive parents.

The desire for children is also universal I guess, but it is a gift. One should NOT call into being children by unnatural sources. Opening Pandora's box, etc. Yes children are a gift, and we should not call into being for our own desires, children who will live wondering who their bio parents are, and the loneliness and heart-sickness of never being a part of a biological family!

Sometimes it cannot be prevented, as orphans or foundlings being adopted into loving homes. Just saying -- it should not be created by the desires for a baby they aren't able to have by natural means.
