We don't need theories of ethnicity. The New Testament makes it clear that the Church, gentiles included, is the new Israel. We have no religious obligation toward the modern secular state of Israel. No special treatment.
You haven't asked a question in multiple messages. The direction is what it is. You would have gotten your turn if you behaved. But you're still avoiding despite me being very clear. I'm no longer going to be replying here.
No, you completely ignored the point which was about the missing books. I'll repeat. The set of books was the same for a thousand years before Luther, who pridefully thought he new better. If he was right, and if scripture is the rightful foundation for everything, then christians were totally lost for a thousand years. Why would God let this happen? You ignored this.
And now you have 66 books. Tell me, anon, what does the symbolism of that number say? Evil, or just incomplete?
You completely avoided my points. Again. You awfully sure you're not the one being deceived. You who tried to appeal to "america first" a few messages back, as if Trump himself is gonna personally welcome you to Heaven or something.
You don't have a good response to my points because such a thing doesn't exist. I pray you come to realize why that is someday.
Luther didn't do anything to Scripture.
Cope harder. All of the Western Church's bibles had been the same for a thousand years prior to him, or if the sources are incorrect, seven or eight hundred. That's a long time to have a standard. A long time to have followed "false" scripture, too, especially if scripture is the most important thing to get right. Were we without a Church for a millennium? For that matter, what about the years before the new testament books were written?
I choose to respect the ark of the new covenant on a day set aside for her. You choose to follow a dogma declared to be the "truth" by a few men only five centuries ago. And we saw the circus of dozens (or even hundreds or thousands!) of different conflicting "truths" that resulted from that event. Remember the words of Gamaliel in Acts 5:35-39. See the historical signs and be careful you don't end up fighting against God.
Sola Scriptura is a dogma lol
God doesn't leave us ignorant. You can look at Acts to see how it happens. Chapters 10-11 show an extreme change in the rules God expexts his people to follow, allowing them to associate with gentiles and eat their food. This revelation didn't come from the Gospel, or from any teachings of Jesus before his ascension. (While Jesus was on earth he obeyed the law of Moses perfectly.) God simply revealed this to his Church, and after careful deliberation they accepted it.
I have read them, recently actually. Look at John 21:25. How can you assert that scripture is the entire Word of God when the Gospel itself says that Jesus said and did so much more than what's written there, in his ministry?
But I get it. You have your dogmas and we have ours
You have to understand what's going on on sites like BS and Discord. They make it incredibly easy to curate your own environment, and surround yourself with "yes men". Anyone who deviates is threatened with expulsion. Their extreme, impulsive thoughts are able to echo around and amplify until they've solidified that thought as "correct". It just takes a seed, from a trusted source (like a politician or media personality or twitch streaming extremist) and it just builds until it bursts.
