Thanks fren. I am Australian but happily escaped to Japan 3 years ago so I’m living in comparative luxury here while the Hunger Games is set to start for my family back home. Just saying I have a good sense of how fucked it is and looking at places like France makes me realise it’s probably only gonna get worse.

Thanks fren. Nice to be reassured that I'm not totally alone in this world. My brother and I did have a bit of success red-pilling our mother, which feels like a great win. But I'm just worried for the future, for my kids (currently 4 and 1). What is school going to be like for them? If mandatory vax for kids to attend school comes in am I going to be able to home school them? Things like that. I guess all I can do is cross one bridge at a time.

Thanks man. It's mostly my workmates and my dad who are the most brainwashed. I guess I could just avoid talking about anything but it really grinds my gears when they start bragging about how virtuous they are because they got the jab.

I'm really trying to do so but I have a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old and I can't help but think I need to push back against the bullshit for the sake of their futures. It's rough man, it's lonely and scary.

A powerful metaphor, I like it.

My brother and I did manage to red-pill our mother, but my father is still living with his head in the sand. His email literally said "My second jab is next week, then FINALLY we can relax!". He honestly thinks he's going to die if he goes outside.

I'll keep the lighthouse lit up for him but I have little hope...

Thanks, I am. I'm in the best shape of my life and am eating healthily and supplementing. Haven't caught even the smallest of colds since I started this new lifestyle. I've been hoping that just being healthy despite not living in fear/not getting the jab/not wearing masks would show people already on the fence that it's OK not to bend over and take it from the government. But they're good at their mental gymnastics and end up thinking that they're the rational, virtuous ones regardless.

You're right. Actually I have been trying to be less 'edgy' about it and just say "Look if you want the vax, go get it. Just don't tell me off for not wanting it." and trying to end it there. But it doesn't placate them. They just blame me for not being "community minded" or some shit.

I feel like when you do that, they say "Well, everyone's figuring this out as we go along, now that we know more than we did before we can make better decisions"

They seem to have an answer for everything

Some 250 fines, each worth $500, were issued across the city today, with one man arrested after travelling on trains outside his local government area without a reasonable excuse.

$125k in fines and arrested for riding the train!!

It comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison had launched a four-stage plan back to freedom but said 80% of adults would have to be vaccinated before the border can begin to open.

80% target for a shot that doesn’t even confer immunity. Fucking 🤡 🌍

I left in 2018, only meant to be away for a year or two (terminally ill father in law). Now I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Every day I read something like this that makes any connection I may have weaker.

icecoldmax 5 points ago +5 / -0

So it’s gotta be one of:

  • the shot doesn’t work and they got regular covid anyway
  • the shot damaged their immune system and made them more susceptible to covid (ADE)
  • the shot itself made them sick (“the vaccine IS the variant”)

Am I missing something? If you see this and can still be persuaded to take this jab, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Nice. I too am trying to wake people up not by being mean or anything, but just showing them that it's OK to not be scared all the fucking time and that it's OK to say no to the jab.

Not having much success though. In fact I got hauled into the boss's office and told off for being "insensitive about matters of race and privilege" after talking about it. I think someone had done some mental gymnastics, like "minorities have less access to medicine because white people oppress them, therefore a white person trying to discredit the jab is a privilege issue because minorities would benefit most because they're oppressed" or some shit. I can't even make sense of it as I type it tbh

It’s all bullshit. All the variants are only at most 0.3% different from the original Wuhan strain. Not enough for your body to not be able to recognise it. Consider that people who had SARS back 17 years ago have immunity to covid, and they’re about 80% similar.

The variants are bullshit for another reason too: it’s just a different subset of part of the same thing. So for example if the entire virus is ABCDEFG, then the first variant might be ABC, the next might be BCD, another might be CDE. But it’s all the same shit. It’s just what they’re looking for at that time, and if you look for it, you can always find it. Have you ever heard them say “it was the delta strain AND it was NOT any other strain”? Nope. They look for delta, find it of course, and say it’s the new strain without seeing if they can find the others.

One of the replies to that tweet was a real head scratcher:

You can still get the virus if you're vaccinated... That's not the point. The point is to lessen the symptoms and prevent death. We need a majority to get vaccinated to reach heard immunity and eradicate the virus.

I don't think they realise that this makes no sense at all.

So I’m wondering if the higher numbers among the vaxxed is because of the combination of:

  • vax doesn’t stop you getting infected
  • more people are vaxxed

So wouldn’t that mean that since more people are vaxxed, more vaxxed people are getting it? Am I missing something?

Just tried to verify the source on twitter and the account has been suspended.

I don't have the primary source but if you read Dr Mercola's article he says that in an interview with Dr Mike Yeadon, a former chief scientist at Pfizer, Mike says "that those who are vaccinated are already condemned to certain and agonizing deaths."

"He believes those who have received the injection will die prematurely and three years is a generous estimate for how long they can expect to remain alive."

Man, I hope that doesn't come true. Best case, I'm walking around the post apocalyptic 2024 with a big "I told you so" grin.

Do you think he said that because he realised what sound-bite would have been created had he actually said the words 'shame on me'? So he was about to say it and was like "whoa hang on, that'll come back to bite me", and so just fumbled onwards?

I was looking at this page about 20 minutes ago and then I accidentally closed the tab. When I went to re-open it I got "Page Not Found"

More transmissible, but weak as piss. Someone on Aussie news said it's mostly a runny nose and a sore throat. No hacking cough, no shortness of breath, no loss of taste or smell. So the question is, who gives a shit?

Thanks for this. As an Aussie who lives overseas I’ve been embarrassed at how fucking cucked Australia has been getting what with their ridiculous lockdowns and all my friends and coworkers terrified out of their minds, just busting to get the injection. Had one guy say that “all the arguments of the anti-covid-shot side have been thoroughly debunked by actual experts”. I threw up in my mouth a little when I heard that!

Have to keep reminding myself that people aren’t acting out of malice, they’re just confused and terrified. It’s getting pretty lonely on this side though.
