Last year I drove through California. I went to high school there and haven’t been back in years. so much is changed.

What really got me with all the liberal ideologies, bizarre laws, cult like stupidity- environmentalist nonsense —was how lovely the people were and how beautiful that state is.

The wealth is staggering, yet that state went into bankruptcy. The illegal migrants, the corrupt politicians, local, and state….ect, ect..

I find it hard to believe that some of these wonderful people vote D and are liberals.

I won’t take travel assignments there anymore, because the cities with the greatest needs -are the cities in the greatest disrepair. Plus the taxes are outrageous. It’s just not worth it.

It’s funny that other states want to adopt these ideologies when California doesn’t even feel like it’s part of the United States anymore!

Also, I saw something years ago about how the dams are in such disrepair that it would only take one mishap to have them flood into the larger cities. And yet they spout off about conserving water.

When I was there, during the heaviest rains on the southern border of Mexico, the waste from Mexico floats up to US soil, ocean, waters, and pollutes that water way. Yet no one talks about it.

Yeah, it a favorite! (I still like Richard Marx Hazard, and Styx- the best of times!) Fitting for our time, currently.

We are studying the New Testament this year. This manual is for 2023 and it’s a good assistant plus daily scripture study ideas.

It is from the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. But if that doesn’t offend you, 😊it’s a great study guide.

Just a thought: Before you find religion, I would find God. Read your scriptures. Study the Bible or other scriptures. Build up your testimony/faith in our Savior. That may help with those dark foreboding feelings.

For me, I have faith, knowing that we are in end times, we are experiencing prophecy in real time.

My favorite scriptures that “Every knee shall bow,.. every tongue confess …that Jesus is Lord!” (paraphrasing…Lol)

I derive comfort from knowing that even those who are evil, with evil agendas/intent, will eventually bow and acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

It’s not that I want revenge on them. They will have enough contempt for themselves on this day.

It will be one of those —Lord, have mercy on their souls moments.

I agree! That’s how I get through every day!

I often wondered the thoughts of those killed in battle, or simply executed. Their last thoughts??

I hope that I would have a faith, so great, .. that my last thoughts would be of my family & looking forward to seeing my Savior!

Right after what I’ve seen, I can’t stomach any T Hank movies. And that’s really too bad because there was a time he was one of my favorites.

I can’t read minds, and I have no idea if there was an agenda or if Trump was genuinely trying to get the forefront of a pandemic.

Moving forward, there are hundreds dying every day now from the side effects of this vaccine. I don’t give a damn about the pandemic to me it’s over, I didn’t take the shot —but to many it’s still a living nightmare.

True! I’m still new to this. Some days it’s easier understanding the evil in this world and other days it’s hard to even comprehend!

I posted that because I know how little kids do crazy uncomfortable -things and parents capture the moment.

I liked her free spirit mentality. I’ve seen a lot of Jamie Lee Curtis interviews, I don’t remember ever getting a hint of nastiness, evilness. She seems to buck Hollywood’s idea of perfection, stardom and just do it her way.

Of course! I remember back in high school reading statistics. It showed US was one of few countries with occurrences of SIDS.

I thought it was bizarre that none were recorded in Third World countries.

I agree! It is an odd post!

Years ago, I was contacted by my sons school. Asked if I put him in the dryer and turned it on. Lol!

The truth was my son was fascinated by the dryer and would not stay out of it. He was constantly getting in, so one day with the clothes still in the dryer, he climbed in yet again, this time- I took my hand and rotated the dryer bucket. He loved it!

As a young parent, it was probably a stupid thing to do but, he told everyone about it. It was the last time he ever got in the dryer.

I think if I had taken a picture of that moment, people would’ve said I was a sick freak— so with all the sick freaks out there, I am trying to give Jamie Lee Curtis the benefit of the doubt —as it is a very disturbing picture.

The child looks stuffed, again if you’ve ever been down south — to a really hot climate, a bucket of water might be incredibly cool to a kid who just wants to goof off. Maybe we should give her the benefit of the doubt.
