May God keep you safe through this hurricane, all those in it's path. I will pray that lives are not lost and that common sense prevails. There is nothing material that is worth your life, and I know that is a hard pill to swallow, especially if you have worked hard all your life to have a home and your possessions. May he also protect your pets. I will be praying for you all through out this day, that by nightfall, you are high and as dry as you can be. God help you.

Dairy farmers start at 4 30am, loggers warms their skidders up at 5, in the winter, and those are not quiet engines. I live in farm country NE, if you drive by the homes all the lights are out before 10 pm, local gas stations are closed by 8pm, I guess noise at night (after 10pm) is less tolerated. Most of the workmen who are woodsmen, carpenters, farm workers expect everyone to be up, dressed, showered and shaved and getting their coffee and breakfast burritos by 7.Not to mention the crews will gather, if they have to drive to a job, on the truck by 5. I guess it's dependent on where you live. A skiider at full throttle pulling logs at 6am is a sound no one sleeps through. Ah well, I am a morning person, watching the sun come up is something I love to do.

Yes, I went into anaphalaxis due to the Herz effect, I caught it back in 1986, before I realized what it was. Symptoms started in 93, it's systemic, its controlled with a regimen of otc anti histamines, controlling mast cell build up in my intestines with diet, supplements, herbs. At 74, unfortunately a long term bombardment with antibiotics could kill me, although I have taken antibiotics for a cat bite,(I was pilling the little bastard and it bit me, it went toxic in a matter of hours) and for a bad bronchitis, both times I felt great, but my doctor said no, The bacteria drills into all kinds of hidey holes and goes dormant, after it has eaten up all your cartlidge. The trick is to keep them dormant and avoid triggers. The pain management is for the whole body arthritis that resulted from it. I did the parasite protocol with meds, Ivermectin, and herbs, black walnut, artemesia, oregano oil, and took something to dissolve the biofilm, day 7 I broke out in a head to toe hive attack, and then severe vomiting, ended up in the ER going in to shock! I do take japanese knotweed to keep the devils at bay, but killing them all off just releases an immune response that is dangerous. The one good thing about it? I was exempt from taking the jab per doctors orders, due to immune response to vaccines.

A woman from the midwest USA went to Switzerland to kill herself, assisted by the technology of a death capsule. I read this morning that There were charges brought against the people, and arrests made by American authorities in Switzerland. She had been struggling with the pains and flares and drastic changes of life her autoimmune illness caused She had Lupus. I was thought to have it until I found a doctor who correctly diagnosed end stage Lyme. Yes, it causes pains and compromises your day to day activities, yes, a flare feels like a flu, yes, a "normal" life becomes a life that is one day at a time, with several days of just being fragile. She was in her early 60's. or maybe 60. The news is in MSM. Let me tell you, since the doctors in the USA became frightened of prescribing pain meds for people with chronic conditions, there are more who are choosing suicide. I understand that they were handing out narcotics like candy in certain states, West Virginia comes to mind, I understand that pain medications that contain opioids should be carefully prescribed in cases where recovery happens (broken bones, dental surgery, post operatively). But the fact that they are controlling these meds to the point of allowing some cancer patients and those with chronic painful conditions like RA, Lupus, Ehlers Danlos, degenerative disc disease to suffer, is a sin. There are remedies for lifetime pain, and managed well, there is no need to up the dose to the point that the person is nodding out with a high. I have been taking Tramadol for over 10 years, daily, the dose has not been raised in that time, without it, there are days I would be in bed trying not to move. I also use cannabis and a muscle relaxant when needed, on the days that I do flare up because of a trigger, which could be sun exposure, certain foods, chemical exposures, etc. There is a difference between people who do all the right things to learn to live with a chronic condition, with the help of pain management, and the kid who gets high on grandmas cancer meds. The strict controls on all pain meds have increased the amount of suicides for those of us who live in a constant fear that one day the doctor will say no. There is a stigma attached now. I hope, in the future, that this will be dealt with sanely and compassionately. Our healthcare system in this country is neither. Suicide is soul killing, and it effects family and friends for those left behind. The difference between addiction and dependence is huge. Addiction starts when the person who is taking the meds feels better, and then takes another one, to feel even better, and then some more because it feels really good. The point of the med is to keep pain below the #5 stage, and it will, in a progressive disease, what you want is the ability to function, albeit of course not as well as you did when you were in your 30's and disease free. Some of us need these drugs, believe me, I wish I did not, but I am sure glad I have some relief. Just wanted to get that off of my chest.

I would say it is 50-50 in the very blue state of Vermont, and driving through New Hampshire last week it was, from the car window, 80% Trump and 20% Harris, if I were to judge by signs on the lawn. People are dug in on who they vote for, the only thing I am worried about is the endorsements from all the former Republicans, and those who may vote Harris, or not vote at all. What will wake people up are the revelations that the white hats are supposed to be holding close to their chests. Out with it already! I am tired of waiting for it, and I am becoming less sure that the revelations will steer people away from their liberal convictions. We need the truth exposed, if it is going to cause chaos, better now than later, imo. The longer we wait, the longer people drift away into indifference, if it going to be a political. If is going to be strictly Biblical, I can wait a lifetime or longer, but political movements are like cooking, and frankly, I did stick a fork in it and I believe it's done.

While shuffling through all the clutter to get to the truth, it is valuable to also study and learn about gaslighting, the more you know about it, the more you can detect it. What they are telling us is that they have the capability to harm anyone they want to, when they want to. That is what is clear to me, anyway. They took the concept of IED's and finnessed it. On one hand I applaud their genius, on the other hand I know a red flag when I see it. I see this as a warning.

I stick to talking about my gardens and health issues and life on the homestead with folks who are not politically on the same page. Especially on facebook, I don't block people, I just unfollow them or whatever option there is to not see their postings on my page, it is for family who live far away, or locals who have our gardens in common, and a few Pastors I follow. I keep politics on political pages, but for an old gal, I do troll on X pretty good, but it ends up messing with my peace of mind if I do it too often. We often post about all the prepping that should be done as we wait for the precipice . What is not mentioned enough is the need to prep our minds and souls. It will be essential to our survival to maintain a sober and steady mind, and to be at peace in our souls. No one will have time to tend to the over reactive hysterics that will probably ensue. You know the Gospel story of Christ walking on water? The point of the story was not about the walking on the water, the point is to not have fear and panic when the storm comes and rocks the boat. Be of Faith, practice soothing your mind with the thought of God being in control and the safety he assures will be the sanctuary for the faithful.

The only problem I have seen for years is due to overpopulation, and you can bash me all you want, but lowlife drug addicts are having babies, unwed, one woman has maybe 3 kids from different men, the kids grow up and are too messed up to be good for any society, they get pregnant, two families around this small town has grandbabies that were spawned from a 16 year old drug dealer and his 15 year old girl friends. These are peeople who should be sterilized, I'm sorry, but the babies that they have are destined to lives of hell, and cause hell for others. What to do about that problem? The problem is real and effects rural towns all over, there are meth addicts who have kids, the only hope for those kids is to take them from the mothers at birth, but then we have the issue of government control. The wrong people are having babies in many cases. These are Godless people, geerational welfare and drug and alcohol abuse, the fetal damage assures that the offspring will also be in the welfare system. What say you?

I had a friend visit from Canada and she was amazed that the cheddar cheese sold in Vermont was not orange, she asked what kind of cows were milked that made white cheese! She is not a dumbie either, but through her childhood the cheese she grew up with was that orange kraft food color. And yes, the enormous combines used for harvesting wheat and corn and soy of course has critters in it, I eat mostly corn and rice products due to gluten intolerance in my gut, many people believe that the gluten intolerance comes from the glycophosphates they spray the crops with, and dry beans, if not bought organically are full of it, that is how they harvest them, spray entire fields of beans with the stuff, it shrivels and dries almost over night, and makes the harvesting easier. I know the vegans are perfectly fine with eating over processed carbs and artificial soy based "meat", hot dogs, rubbery artificial cheeses. I buy my meat locally, I too find the factory farmed animals abhorrent, it is so inhumane they way those creatures are raised, but there are alternatives, buy local, for instance, where you see the animals in the field eating grass and walking in the sun. I use ButcherBox and the Fulton Fish Market for my animal protein, and local lamb and pork, and of course I always have my chickens for eggs. I eat eggs every day, my cholesterol is great. And butter, Lord don't I love my butter. Healthy oils like butter and olive oil and cold pressed peanut oils are very important, and they are not stressed enough on how important they are. If a person cannot afford organic, at least they should pay attention to what kind of fats they are putting into their bodies.

I pity them. The experience of God is something that comes with Faith. For me, it has turned ordinary existence , with all it's variety and nuance, into a daily witness of miracles. It is very hard to explain this to a non believer.

I know that there are PT excercises that can tighten certain muscles, also, any spinal deterioration can cause pinched nerves in the lumbar spine that can cause issues, and there are tightening excercises to do with abs and buttock muscles to support the lower back which then supports the sphincter from the bladder. Those pills are full of side effects, make sure she knows to use the bathroom and to not wait to hold it, to not drink anything a couple of hours before bed, and when she does go to make sure she empties the bladder completely. Also to not have a lot of shame about it, it is normal with age, the best we can do is keep up muscle tone and change some habits. I know if I drink anything at night, like a nice cup of herbal tea for relaxing, to not go to sleep because I will just wake up an hour or 45 minutes later to use the bathroom again, my sister used to be up every 2 hours going to the bathroom when she was in her 70's, and tired from lack of sleep, I finally convinced her to stop having that glass of wine before bed, and it helped a lot.

I live in a legal state, grew it long before it was legalized, now its legal for retail sale in the cannabis shops, finally. I was able to buy seeds from Canada, discreet shipping and all. It's about time, a person should be able to grow what ever medicine they need, and if its recreational use, fine with that too, my grandmother brewed her own elderberry wine, taught my uncle how to, and pot is a lot less of a problem than alcohol.

some companies come right out and say it "ant powder" cricket powder etc. Nobody needs a protein boost that badly, How do they get around the inspections for food that will not tolerate a certain amount of insect particles? I know there are probably bits of insects in organically grown grain, there are bugs in the field when you harvest and mill it, probably some get througn, which is why its inspected.

I am a peaceful citizen, I turn everything that bothers me over to God. But, there are a few things I would seriously harm another human over, and that is anyone trying to harm or kill my son, or any of my animals, house pets or the ones in the barn. Many Haitians practice Voo doo, and animal sacrifice and blood rituals are part of that. I saw the video too, there was no starvation involved if it is the one with the woman. Try and hurt my dear creatures, I just may do something involved with their blood too.

There is one God, and they do not sound like Christians or followers of Jesus to me. Sorry they are doing that in the name of Jesus Christ. It really does not matter in the long run, God knows his own and knows your heart, no secrets hid. It's always just between you and HIM.

well, whatever or whoever concocted it, it was useless. Every single one of my friends over 65 are still alive, they took the shot, some took all the shots, and they also caught Covid 2 and 3 times, I told them that I think the shot is what gave them the sickness to begin with. One woman i know took extra before she travelled last summer, and of course she came down with it again. I think she took the Moderna one.

I stopped nursing at 5 months, he just wanted to do it all the time, and I thought he was not getting enough, luckily I had a great ob gyn and pediatrician who recommended only goats milk in a bottle, I could not always get fresh, even though I live in a small farm area, it was in such demand, there is a powdered goats mild, oh I remember middle of the night feedings with me mixing it up in the kitchen at 2am!! Processed foods, after eating whole foods, tastes horrible, there was not a lot of it when I was growing up, but I remember eating baloney sandwiches and loving it when I was a kid, I tried some awhile back, uggggh!

2 Peter 3:8-9

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

I occasionally enjoy a soda especially in summer, a few years ago, (more than a few but time flies when you are as old as I am), I stopped drinking or eating anything with high fructose corn syrup. After doing that for just the first 6 months, I was at a BBQ and thats all the kind of soda they had in the big cooler, I drank liked 2 sips of the high fructose and it tasted toxic to me. When I want a coke, like the 3 I drink in a year, the local general store carries "mexican" cokes, made with cane sugar, and the bottles are glass, in a "normal" sized bottle, 12oz.

I live close to the Canadian border,in New England, wood was delivered in June, sat out for 2 months drying a bit, got it stacked inside, have not needed it for warmth, we get snow every Halloween, nights get cold, but this was about prepping, we can cook on the stove, no need for electricity or gas to cook, can heat hot water for washing up, doing dishes etc. And yes, by mid October will probably need to light it at night to warm the house up. It's been 40 at night already.

4 cords of wood in the basement, wood stove, first aid and meds , dog and feed for 1 month, hay is already in the barn for the goats, batteries for all size lanterns and headlamps and transistor radio, lots of those ice packs frozen and the freezer food will be eaten first, will stay good for about 5 days. turkeys in freezer frozen solid, will take 4 days to thaw, eat last. Bleach, peroxide by the gallon jug. Drinking water enough for 10 days, other bottled water kept in used soap and clorox bottles, spare bottles for washing up. Water purification tablets, we live near a clean water source, activated charcoal, vitamins and supplements, months worth, bottles of booze for bartering, silver stacked, 300 troy oz. Ammo, 3 cars always topped off, what am I forgetting? Lots of books for reading, the Bible of course, but others too. Deck of cards and board games to amuse.
