I don't get it. I've never heard of the DOJ issuing a "ruling" like a judge would do. Didn't know they could just declare a law unconstitutional. The article sounds like it came from a court, but it's just the DOJ office of legal counsel. No link to the actual memo either. What force or effect does it actually have, other than them saying they won't prosecute this specific thing? But if they changed their mind later (maybe a future admin), this opinion would not be binding since it didn't come from a court..

I think that belief is based on fear. It opens a door that if you don't know what you're doing can be dangerous. Doesn't mean the practice itself is evil. It is a natural phenomenon. There has to be someone trained and willing to go where others won't.

My mom is constantly going to doctor's appointments, mostly for "tests." They have her dozens of prescriptions, so many she can't keep track of them and doesn't take most of them (thankfully). She doesn't understand anything but believes going through it is her only option. I took her into the ER a couple weeks ago for chest pains. They ended up putting a stent in her heart. She came home and was resting for a couple days but complained she still wasn't feeling good, so she went to a different urgent care clinic, and that doctor told her she had a virus and prescribed her Paxlovid. I wasn't there for that so idk what was said to her but she believed it. She won't listen to anything I say ofc because I'm not a doctor.
