According to this post, Trump was physically at the rally and could have started the speech on time: https://greatawakening.win/p/11RhFbQ2gV/if-trump-knew-that-pence-would-b/
I would assume team Trump knew what antifa was going to do at the capitol building, so they left "on time" so Antifa thought the clock was ticking. Then they waited and MADE SURE the speech went long so the majority of Trump supporters WERE NOT there when they tried to breach the capitol building.
As I was watching the speech I kept wondering to myself why the hell he was still talking while the voting was starting. I eventually stopped watching the speech to watch the voting. I went on a drive to clear my head when I realized it was going to take all day. 20 minutes later I was back home and the capitol had been "overrun"...I thought to myself..."That was fast."
I had those same thoughts yesterday...it was all so weird...
The chat on the livestream I was watching were all commenting, "Why is he repeating everything? He's just droning on."
There were subtle comments throughout his speech. If you weren’t listening, it sounded like all of his speeches. The one that caught my attention the most was when he said Pence would need courage to do the wrong thing. He said it more than once and it was just odd.
Yeah, actually....didn't he say something like "I don't know...it might actually take more courage to do the wrong thing." ?
And...when Pence tweeted that he could not violate his Oath and reject electors was that his signal that he had agreed to do the wrong thing. Or right thing.
LOL, this shit is crazy. I like this thread it has boosted my Hopium levels which are up and down like a tarts drawers.
He said that more than once.
Yes
He said something similar in his Georgia speech on Monday, but that statement was new, and did seem off.
Remember - he even warned his audience that when he started in on detailing the election stealing stuff that it was going to be long and that hoped they would hang in there for it - am just going by what I remember but was words to this effect
Yep, literally to hang in there. "I could go on for hours about this."
At that point, everything was behind schedule, but people started moving early. I thought that it was odd.
I took the most leisurely stroll over there. Pictures. Snacks. Water.
Then I overhead: Congress was evacuated "due to the crowd". My initial thought was people calling into school a fake threat to avoid an exam.
Then, I kept walking until I heard of "storming the Capitol." I kept thinking to myself and asking around... "What gets accomplished by being inside? And did Pence betray Trump." That's when I saw that Pence said he didn't have the authority to do it.
Then, I kept walking. "They're outside of the Capitol!!!!" That was a BEAUTIFUL and unexpected event that WE THE PEOPLE own the Capitol. Never in my lifetime would I have expected that.
And the fuller picture didn't come to me until I talked with the people who saw the news and worried about me. They were surprised that I had random pics and videos on the way to the Capitol and I made it right up there. Quite easily and peacefully.
He also said it would get boring because he was going to lay out all those numbers.
One thing that caught my attention - he was talking about voting discrepancies in one of the states and it was 17000-something votes. He really leaned into the word "seventeen", several times in fact. Did anyone else catch that? I'm new to a lot of this so forgive my ignorance if I've gotten something wrong.
Ive noticed this as well. Every time he says 17, he places emphasis on it.
I also remember this quite clearly.
YESS!!! Yess!!! I was waiting for the new evidence to show up. But it was the same speech. Regardless, he did tell us ahead of time that he “didn’t wanna bore us” with all the information. But he went on and on and on.
God dammit, Trump, you slick son of a bitch
I was watching the live comments and many of them complained about how boring and uneventful the speech was.. My thoughts were "Donnie is just buying time, the true events must be unfolding someplace else".
I also found it weird that the speech was announced just the evening before. Yeah he asked us weeks ago to come to DC but the speech itself was practically last minute.
