We had no signal at all until we started walking to the capitol. On the way to the capitol one of my group members alert the rest that there was a threat of bomb. I kept my group away from the infrastructure as much as possible. But we did see the Capitol getting "breached" by protesters. I noticed it was a setup when cops started walking inside the building with their back turn towards the "dangerous protesters".
What I'm going to assume is that he went to DC to prove to members of the military that had doubts who their leader was, that he was the one who was loved, that he has the people backing him.

He encouraged MAGA to be peaceful and peacefully express their support. A few MAGA got caught up but very few. We can’t control what everyone does. Let's say the military brass was tired of the DC corruption or they know it's getting worse. Our democracy has been compromised for a while. This is likely all part of the plan for the military to gain control with Trump approving the plan.
Honestly Trump's part in all this might be done at this point. He doesn't have to have a 2nd term to get the victory he wants. All he needed to do was win the election,....and he did.
