I immigrated from a socialist country, English isn’t my first language, and yet I know more about America than my American best friend does. It’s disturbing that I have to tell her to appreciate what President Trump has done for the nation and love her country. I have tried so hard to red-pilled her for the past 4 years but she would just shut her eyes and refuses to see the truth. This is her effing country!

My grandparents fled Russia during the 1917 Revolution and then fled the Soviets again in Czechoslovakia after WW2. The idea that my country is now running with arms outstretched towards that same future is heartbreaking. God be with us...

Bill Clinton put into place the education system that started the downfall of the country. Bush did nothing to stop it, and Obama made things worse. It's going to take a generation to recover.
Unfortunately, some history has been lost forever. Back in the '90s I read an article by a researcher who claimed the library of congress was systematically being stripped of historical artifacts. That was not in the MSM anywhere. I don't know how true systemic part was, but I doubt it was pure fiction either. The claim was there were missing artifacts that had previously been catalogued, and not all the evidence of missing items had been cleaned up.

Ah man exciting times. I have been a us citizen for around 20 years now.... I bleed red white and blue.
I'm embarrassed to say that people in Southern France, Normandy Coast, Italy (all throughout), The Netherlands and Germany are MORE educated about our history than we are here at home. I mention these locations because I have been there. And have friends live in these countries who continually astonish me with their knowledge.

Indoctrination camps known as public schools are why! It wasn't bad in the 90s early 00s because of sept11 I was in high school but around 08 around the time a certain president came into power the schools stopped promoting American values and started embracing communism!
"We have more than we know" has so many meanings.
We have Korean, Cuban, Vietnamese, etc immigrants who risked EVERYTHING to escape their socialist and communist homeland take a chance on the American dream. Some had to leave immediate family behind. We have a lot to learn from these people. I believe that God sent them to us for a reason and I believe we are living that reason today. Please support and appreciate these brave hard working Patriots. In my experience they are some of the kindest souls I've ever met.

Ever since he ran, I’ve witnessed first hand the craziness, ignorance, and ungratefulness of the leftists, the unfairness and gross disrespect to the president who has done his best for America. I met a couple of Americans in 04 in Spain, who emigrated because they were deeply disturbed about the direction of the Country under Bush. And although I could understand that from a logical perspective, when I watched Boston Legal, especially the last season, it really it home.
So, instead of pushing, perhaps you are better of kindling the friendship and let her talk the things she likes.
No I am the one that immigrated to America. My best friend who doesn’t appreciate America is American. I agree that she will be in for a rude awakening in the next few months with or without the return of president Trump. As her best friend, I only want to slowly prepare her for the realization that she has been force-fed propaganda. But I guess there is only so much I can do.
