I've been friends with a number of F to M individuals who were very nice and very pleasant to hang out with. On the other hand, I've encountered some super predatory and aggressive M to F individuals. I think unfortunately the actions of a few M to F predators has led to some overly broad generalizations on this topic. For the most part, I think the people who are predatory don't even have gender dysphoria so much as they get off sexually as perceiving themselves in control of a women's body (and get off on accessing women's spaces where they can abuse women), which is a very different thing. You raise a good point, it's important to remember everyone's humanity and that person is different and each case should be considered separately. When people on here say things that are critical of the trans community, I think they are picturing the M to F predators who are using their identity to access and abuse women, not nice people who feel they'd rather be another gender. Unfortunately both groups exist.

I think mental illness is a tragedy that is too often placated with hormones and surgery just to lead to suicide later.
Hopefully we can get past this and provide the support needed.

There is a thing called transtrenders, I think they are really doing harm to people with genuine dysphoria, they don't actually have an issue, other than being attention seekers, that and they are seeing the condition as a fad, or a trend. Honestly I have no issue with someone who has genuine dysphoria, and really does not feel they are in the right body, in my opinion, they need to be what makes them happy, and healthy. Unfortunately the left has trampled over a lot of LGBT people's credibility and set them back in the progress made in society by using them as a vehicle to sow discord in the community.
thank you for sharing your story but i never seen someone try to degrade trans people. they were only told the truth and some how that was offensive. either way im glad you found yourself and hope you continue sharing this story. watch out tho. the same people that would've supported your transition would hate you for saying this
It's largely the parents that are the problems in all aspects today. Bad parenting sometimes allows kids to grow up to be criminals and such but also some parents try to encourage a kid to be the opposite sex rather than provide proper context to the kid. Many of the changes made with gender transition cannot be undone and the process with kids should be far more thorough than it is.
If someone wants to be the opposite sex, they can to the extent that science and technology allows currently but they will never have an accurate appearance of the opposite sex nor the bone structure also certain internal organs. Also though, society has a problem of attempting to force things on others.
It's not just gender related, it's also religion. Many do not believe in a god and do not support any kind of religion and many that are religious go crazy over that but those of us that do not believe in any of it are more often than not, far more accepting of those that do believe.
Has anyone ever watched Triggernometry on YT? I know... YouTube, but hear me out. There's a great segment they did with Posie Parker, a "feminist" (although she's very traditional for someone who calls herself a feminist...), who speaks out against the Trans movement. You can watch it here, if you're so inclined. There's the kinda-opposite side of the coin here.
One of the things I like about the Posie Parker video is the framing of her arguments. First off, my bias: I agree with her 100%. But the best part of her argument, imo, is that she states a known difference between gender dysphoria and the Trans movement. Gender dysphoria is a dysphoria. In all other forms of dysphoria, do we encourage the dysphoria? No. Do we cut off a person's leg because they feel it shouldn't be there? No. So why are people so eager to cut off their God-given parts simply because they feel like the opposite gender? (Think about that. How do they know? Who told them, "this is what it feels like to be a boy. A girl"? That doctors are promoting this is crazy.) In the case of gender reassignment surgery, we can't even guarantee that it will help and/or cure the dysphoria! Many participants of the surgery go missing or can't be found again. Many commit suicide.
I can't even express the levels of sadness I feel for those who suffer from any kind of dysphoria. The distress a person must feel everyday is mind-boggling. Most importantly, the way we go about treating gender dysphoria is simply inhumane. It's disgusting and terrible and....Gah, I'm so sorry, OP, that you've gone/are going through this illness.
The Trans movement, however, is a politically motivated movement that doesn't care about the individual. In fact, many see the Trans movement as a way to "cure" homosexuality. You can't be gay if you're actually a woman in a man's body, you know! There's also the very real issue of pedophilia, as many men (and women, too) who've been abused go and become the abuser -- but a culturally acceptable one now! For those good "trans" people, who are looking for honest-to-goodness help, the trans movement is like a single pat to the head: "Good Trans person. Hurting inside? Don't care. Go be political for the benefit of our movement."
But none of the above issues matter if you're a parent who wants to protect their child from sick people. Men should not be anywhere near a woman's changing room/bathroom/private space simply because he thinks he's a she. No. I'm sorry. I don't care about your feelings. A 12 year old girl going through puberty shouldn't have to feel unsafe in a supposedly female-only space. People are weird enough at that age! Make more single person bathrooms/changing rooms, then! Geez.
I get pretty heated up about this issue, but I hope my words were taken with thoughtful consideration and not judgement. I care for people, I truly do, and I make an honest effort to be a better person daily. I do not suffer from dysphoria. I think it's a terrible thing to suffer from. It's not the same thing as being Trans, however. I'm not Trans. Although I'm empathetic to a degree, I won't negotiate my morals and faith for a movement that disregards the welfare of children.

Honestly the fight has always been "Woke transgender shills" and the rest of the society, not really transgenders themselves.
I have been watching Blair White, for instance, and what I see is that nothing actual Transgender folks desire from the society is reasonable. But these woke shills make it into something else, like toilet wars and war against women sports etc. This is just basic marxism and nothing else.
The problem is not between men and women, or whites and blacks, or transgender and the rest of the society. The problem is marxists who create these conflicts

I know there are some disgusting ones out there I get it but there are many especially kids that have this disorder and when they see such vial hatred about it from christians and conservatives it makes them run the other way and we don't want that. That’s not true. Most tomboys grow up to be typically feminine or in some cases extremely feminine.
How is this different from anyone who hates their body at intervals in their life?
I feel like the 30 something and-under generation think struggles just began. Being human is full of emotion.
