Those use to wake me up ALL the time! Good times in Al Asad.
Thank you for your service! ?
It was my pleasure and honor to serve our country. Although I now know that I fought in a BS war that killed many innocents.
That definitely tarnishes the experience and memories..
I too feel used. We literally provided 24/7 support for a nearby CIA compound in Afghanistan. Not sure how I feel about what we did.
At the time we were fighting TERRORIST. you guys have balls no? ofc you do thats why you did it. its not your fault the intel was dirty and how else could we have known? but now that we do know.... Time to make it right yes?
Yes, bad intel is a good way to put it. I pray that this is made right, every day.
I can imagine...we are all waking up to something other than what we all thought we knew and trusted, likely for our entire lives. Either way, we are all indebted to you. Thank you.
Flip!! Our military is the best!
What kind of aircraft are those?
F-35's
Q 35
I have very little aircraft knowledge, apparently and I am amazed they can land like that. Maybe I should get out more. ;)
The Harrier jet was the first production jet to have VTOL (vertical take off/ landing) capabilities. They started making them in 1967. These are the latest and greatest, the F-35. Also they are insanely loud.
Both my FIL and mother worked on the F35. They are awesome!
greatest is debatable.
Back on board the ship. Eagle has landed. Let’s wrap this up, boyz!
Awesome!
Hopeful I guess that this was a morning landing after a night mission that got something done.
That there is a targeted, smooth landing.
Thank you for this mega dose of Hopium!!!
The aircraft came in to land... sideways.
Relevant to what's to come? Something out of left-field, perhaps?
AND! I don't recall Scavino posting a completed landing before... posts with aircraft on deck, photos in the air, phots coming in to land...
But this aircraft actually landed
Maybe we're close??
A fighter now on the deck, slowly moving forward. who knows.
They need that antigravity element we use in those huge ass saucers. Would save a bunch of fuel.
Precision movements over the landing target.
Bravo!!! Best bread I've read all week. Thank you!
Bring it hoss!
