Hopefully people are waking up to all the toxic crap they put in processed food. Pink slime in fast food burgers. GMOs. Soybean oil in EVERYTHING that boosts estrogen levels (hence puberty now starting at seven or eight instead of twelve). Aspartame in everything, even toothpaste, and it literally eats holes in brain tissue. All chemical sugars are extremely toxic and addictive. Fluoride is BAD for is and bad for teeth. Who started the fluoride in the water supply? Hitler and CCP Chyna. Because it is a form of mood stabilizer, like lithium, and makes us apathetic.
Once I got off the chemical food train my health improved drastically. Hair got thicker. Nails got stronger. Coordination improved so much i could tell a difference. Improved brain function.
Once you’ve had real maple syrup the other stuff tastes so horrible. Maple syrup has many levels of flavor. It’s not just sickeningly sweet like the other crap.
ACTUAL maple syrup is expensive because it is worth something and tastes amazing.. This manufactured crap just kills people, one plate full of poison at a time.
Got my folks hooked on the real deal and that's all they'll buy now, regardless of price. How? They tasted it. That simple.
Apart from the health implications, the real thing simply tastes better. It’s a fair bit more expensive, sure, but you don’t need nearly as much. The artificial varieties of most things were not engineered to improve your experience, they’re designed to improve profits.
On a similar note, margarine is both unhealthy and disgusting. Real butter or nothing.
Funny the original Aunt Jemima (not the one on the left) was actually a slave back in the day and became quite wealthy and became quite a prominent figure in society.....nothing racist about it....one of her decedents (great grand daughter?
