Been running circles to try and get my Mother's insulin for the past month. Insurance says they won't cover it anymore. 500 bucks a month. Can't afford it. My Mom quite literally relies on it to survive. Hate that I'm relating with this guy so much, but I didn't ask for Joe Biden to do this to the costs. I voted against it. Now I'm not sure what to do to help her.

Same boat man. My niece is type 1, got it at 3mos. Old. They were so excited when priced dropped. Their whole family is based, voted Trump.
She's 14 and idk what theyre gonna do. Her sister had Lukemia, fought and barely survived that (docs. Had written her off, had to go through experimental surgery, etc).
The family doesnt have this kind of money. I guess we'll start talking with churches and family, see who can contribute to keep her alive until it settles down.

Also, Wal-Mart has insulin for cash $24 / vial. Novolin R, N; not the fancy lyspro fast-acting analogs, but with some discipline it works. I've been on that for years after developing allergies to the analogs. The companies often have programs to sell them cheaper if you're uninsured or poor (i.e., to keep you from being sympathetic in the nightly newscast). Their policies are geared to steal money from insurance companies, and give an out to people. Definitely worth a call.

Check with your moms doctor or the hospital. Sometimes there’s applications you can fill out to get lower drug prices. It’s worth a try. Best of luck.

Thank you! Sometimes people forget God loves and Forgives! He teaches us compassion and sometimes we have to use it! I don’t forget the stupid decisions I made that at some point in my life made me realize the truth. If this boy did vote for Biden, hopefully it fully awakens him. We just got to keep praying Americans are awakened!

I voted Trump but get screwed just as bad on insulin. I was really hoping he'd kick some antitrust butt on the AMA & Big Pharma, and fire most of the FDA. This guy hasn't even been able to vote for 90% of his life, and was born into a system designed to do this to him.
It's depressing to think of how many people got screwed over on this situation alone. If "The Plan" fails, this guy is going to look back at this moment as the good old days.

A lot of people have an altered state when they're told they can't afford to live. Type 1 diabetics simply die without insulin, wasting away over a few months. All evidence points to the fact that our country's choice of TB vaccine, and the elimination of the TB-related bacteria, has led to higher type 1 rates, probably unintentionally. The Faustman Lab has it fairly well-documented, and it would've been the number one medical story last year except for covid.

Look at the items published March 2020 onwards. They're brief and very simple for scientific journal stuff. Made The Lancet and Journal of Internal Medicine. Inverse relationship between TB and Type 1 had been known for a few years already. She demonstrated the mechanism and causality, and positive treatment results (not always a full cure, but seemingly always an improvement, although it does take 3.5 years). She's essentially doing crowdsourced pharma with a drug that is public domain.
