No. I don't think you could conclusively ID the person at all but she was standing very close to the officer in the driveway (especially to be a stranger).
Love your quick thinking. What they did is most likely against their own rules as police. It is not up to them to tell you not to commit a crime but if you commit the crime to arrest you! Insane and file an incident report with mayors office and police department.
So who is the third person that stayed well away from the camera...
On a completely different subject I read that a fundamental aspect of any basis for control in a dictatorship is for that government (at whatever level, federal, state etc) to instruct officials to act as ‘political officers’ and ensure political intolerance is enforced....
Plead the fifth, that cop is a bozo. You don’t have to answer any questions unless you are suspected of committing a crime....not uspected entail ly committing a crime!
Well to be fair, I don't think the police officer wanted to be there either. We will know the tide has definitely turned when the police start saying NO to thier obnoxious orders. It is embarrassing for both parties.
I thought it looked like that too, that he looked like just responding to another dumb thought policing call like oh geez totally not what I joined the dept for.
One day hopefully soon the Americans who are in these jobs like LE, healthcare/medical, etc are going to have enough of the clowns using them to further their dystopian agendas and they'll just refuse. I believe most of them are good and chose careers to help and serve humanity and like you said, it really is embarrassing even watching it so cringey
Oh I so wish she would have jumped on that a bit earlier with the woman trespassing on her property -- the cop visited her to WARN her that it was a CRIME to trespass on someone's property and then ignored her when someone literally trespassed on her property while they were standing there.
You can't say it is such a huge crime as to come visit her at night to "warn" her and then ignore it when it actually HAPPENS to her.
Wrong. They showed up because someone posted something online and made a joke, not because they actually did anything.
That is not the role of police.
It is also not the role of the police to threaten to arrest someone who might at some future time trespass, and then completely ignore the fact that someone else has actually trespassed.
I'd bet that someone was a city official. I think she should make some serious inquiries about this and file formal complaints about it. It wouldn't surprise me if there was no official report of the action.
Minority Report anyone? Harassment of people who "may" commit a crime. Monitoring of chats by FaceBook. I found this video extremely disturbing.
That was my first thought too.
Wow. Great video. Would love to see the FB post. A whole squad to harass and it was watched by a "private citizen" cough gov official.
I'd bet that lady is whomever they were talking about
Post are in the gab comments
Awesome. So, didn't we see this sort of thing this week? Direct threat vs normal speech standards?
1:45ish see woman past sidewalk. Is there a better shot? Very dark.
No. I don't think you could conclusively ID the person at all but she was standing very close to the officer in the driveway (especially to be a stranger).
Wow. Kudos to this woman standing for her rights. And this was in Florida?
hmm so we stand in support of them when lefty's wanna kill their jobs but they fail us in an instant

Tyranny

Where was this, unable to catch the side of the car
Palm Beach County
Thanks

Fucking THOUGHT POLICE.
And it's illegal for them to not STAND BY AND WAIT FOR A FUCKING WATCH COMMANDER TO ARRIVE.

When the police are told to round up people for the train ride to the camp they can just tell people they are following orders.
Infuriating
I never answer the door unless I'm expecting someone and I look outside first. Opening a door is like an invitation to enter the house for police.
They have no business showing up. It was clear the official they joked about used the cops as a form of intimidation/abuse of power payback.
However, I didn't hear anything about a mask. The alleged FB post was her saying she was going to go into the official's property and dump trash.
The threat of trespass is a bit more serious than making a joke about masks.
That was Palm Beach County FL.
Had nothing to do with anti mask crap and everything to do with harassment. On both parties, defendant and accuser.
Nooo, that's misleading. The cops showed up because of the alleged trashing of someone else's property. Not because of masks/non-madks as the reason.
Wrong. They showed up because someone posted something online and made a joke, not because they actually did anything.

I didn't say the couple DID trespass. Nor, am I saying the cops should show up for such a wimpy "threat'.
But I am NOT wring in saying that the cops did not go to the house for posting an anti-masker joke as the title implies.
