It smells like a scam. This is NOT an "airline". There's no business at all, just a website asking "members" to chip in hundreds of dollars. (And the problem isn't really the airlines, it's the airports, which are government-run most places.)
Yeah does some random woman have the capital backing to launch an airline at a time when even the established players are going into bankruptcies thanks to the china virus?
Maybe an 'uber for airlines' type model would work with leasing out commercial planes that are in surplus at the time around the bookings but this doesn't seem to be it.

Wow. It's not easy to set up a new airline (but it has been done, many times), and especially one that is a big middle finger to all of these totalitarian minded governments that are now showing their true colors... but this is very cool.

Edit To Add - I think this is a scam also because I'm pretty sure all major US airports are Federally regulated and one airline simply could not go it alone like this. Maybe if they operated out of private airfields ... but I strongly doubt it.
