Gov. Wheelchair finally opened Texas from the Covid restrictions, but retailers like Kroger, WalMart, Walgreens and others see fit to continue on with this stupidity. Needless to say I will not be darkening their doors again.

I've stopped shopping at Walmart almost entirely. Fuck them and their bullshit.

What are you doing about HEB; are there other grocery stores in your area because there aren't in mine and that really pisses me off. HEB has shown a side of themselves that is very disturbing thru all of this.
I live in Texas, and I’ve shopped at HEB, I just tell them I have a mental health exemption from the judge, and then I start up my body cam. That throws them off balance and they usually leave me alone, “like this guy could be dangerous...perhaps he hasn’t taken his meds” ?. I do most the shopping for the family, and I have never once worn a mask!
Lmao, I am also a Texan who goes to HEB. I haven't worn a diaper there in last 10 times I've been there. No one says shit.
Not since HEB cancelled Mike Lindell!
Genius with the body cam
same
Support local mom and pop stores that have suffered. Gladly pay a little more for items to keep them in business.
This. I live in a small town and we have the big box stores like Wal Mart and Publix but I go to the privately owned stores and give them my business. There are still people who wear masks and that's fine. I'm not about telling someone they can't wear one and I don't want anyone telling me that I have to. In Home Goods yesterday I shopped without a mask. They have a friendly voice over that plays on the PA system every so often reminding people to wear masks unless you have a medical exemption. I have a self-proclaimed medical exemption.
Don't expect it to end anytime soon, they're still doing this in Florida despite not having mask mandates. I've been harassed once about a mask while walking into Walmart but not stopped from shopping yet.
Arizona hasn’t a state wide mask mandate ever implemented, but that didn’t stop the county officials and mayors from mandating that masks be worn inside establishments, so essentially nothing will change with regards to stopping the mass mask wearing. Kind of a bummer.
Since they make it up as they go along. Make some laws up too.
Tell them by law they have to give you a mask to wear.
Then hang it off one ear and walk off.
They give em out at the airport now, I was told my mask cloth thing was now illegal and issued a new mask
Damn. If I wanted to spread something new and deadly, that's what I would do. I'd burn that mask if I was you.
I've been shopping at Walmart here in TX without a mask with no probs yet.
What is this 2010? ?
In Iowa, Reynolds dropped the statewide mask thing. Of course the big box, national chain, etc have enforced a mask mandate in their establishments. I'd love to tell you about my brief interaction with a Perkins manager a couple weeks ago. But anyway, notice these are red states. Wouldnt it be a decent plan to increase your tax base at this time by increasing jobs and wealth while decentralizing commerce centers? The conservative base, in all degrees is a majority demo. Millions are now going to the small local businesses bringing in tax revenue locally. Once we figure out how to break Bozos, town's will thrive by local business and local manufacturing. Its us vs. them and the mask is the weapon both sides are using.
Point and laugh. Mock and gesticulate.
Don't let your governor off the hook either. They began the unconstitutional lockdowns in the first place.
Don’t shop elsewhere. Just get some friends/neighbors together, put on your masks, go fill up your carts with perishable items, then place a sign on each of the carts that says “Support the God-given human right to breathe freely and unobstructed or this will keep happening.”
Then all of you leave your carts at the front of the store with those signs on top of them and quietly walk to your cars and drive home.
The more people you recruit to do it, the faster it will work.
Dude my kroger and heb are good... but its local norms i suppose...
I used to like Gov. Wheelchair because he said nice things about GEOTUS from time to time. He showed his true colors to me last year. I do not like governor. I find him spineless (not a pun) and weak, but fuck I guess I'll take him over Whitler or Cumsock Cuomo or Nimrod Nuesom.
He's a C+ student. You can salivated at the A students (DeSantis). But at least he's not a D or F. (Too many to name)
I would not shop in those places.....assholes. This is all for the great reset.
Oh hell people, stop with the ridiculous nonsense. There's a thread here almost every week....I've created one myself....about not wearing masks in these places even before Texas made their announcement.
Some stores, at the corporate level, say they still want you to wear masks. None of the stores I've been in actually enforce this. Do you understand how companies try not to alienate one side or the other? If you weren't wearing masks before this week, then what has changed other than your desire to gripe and bitch about this latest thread?
Maybe we should ask any National chain that's not requiring Masks. They have to be first.
I see this as a win for the ma and pop stores.
Is similar in Mississippi. Kroger, Walmart, and Home Depot. All adhering to the mask mandate. Locally-owned business and Dollar General have lifted the ban.
Give your money to the places that don't go along with this crazy nonsense.
My daughter lives in TX. Shopped at Walmart yesterday without a mask and had no issue. Said a lot of people still wore them but many people didn’t.
