Modern society is a shitshow and the further it moves away from God and Christian values the worse it will get. I wear every insult from a deranged and Godless leftist as a badge of honor. If those people hate me then I must be doing something right.
Exactly. I used to consider myself in the "punk" crowd. It's funny how now my beliefs make me more punk than ever and they are conservative views. God has a great sense of humor. ?
Jesus and his crew were counter-culture before it was cool!
I look back on my younger days and just see an arrogant child who thought he knew everything. I now sit here at 32, awestruck with just how little I know and how much more there is to be learned. It's a humbling experience, one that really changes you for the better. I spent over a decade looking for answers when they were right beside me the whole time lol.
If you want something crazy to think about, consider that the Bible also references “mythology” several times and even references a giant angelic rebellion in Ezekiel. Remember David picking up 5 pebbles, but only needing one to take to slay Goliath? 1 Chron. 20 mentions Goliath’s 4 relatives. Almost all mythologies have a great flood. Maybe all those myths are true...
The thing that really blew my mind was the Anthropic principle or fine-tuned universe theory. Life as we know it couldn't exist if any number of numerous forces in the universe were adjusted even slightly. It's staggering just how woven and interconnected everything is and I honestly can't believe that it all just happened randomly like some atheists insist.
I have yet to find a myth that doesn't say mankind was created from either dirt, mud, or clay.
What's truly fascinating is that after 2 and a half decades of studying the Bible and thinking that the polytheistic gods of the pagans were purely fictitious creations of man's imagination, I discovered that they are actually based on Biblical beings : the elohim or Watchers that were part of the Divine Council and the nephilim that they begat. (Deut. 32:8 and Gen. 6:1-4 with elaboration from the Book of Enoch). See Michael S Heiser for a deeper understanding. It also explains some incredible knowledge the ancients had that still baffles us today (e.g. Megalithic structures made without present-day heavy machinery).
Samesies here with the youthful arrogance. I actually had to become more humble and open in order to see the truth of the world.
I notice there's a pattern of people who refuse to be redpilled. They have big egos and think they are always right, thus they refuse to even consider the other side because they rather be right than to see the truth.
Same here. If you aren't humble then life has a way of delivering humbleness upon you. There's a quote from the Stoic philosopher Seneca that goes something like:
" How can a man learn something that he already claims to know?"
This speaks of a certain arrogance and closed-minded attitude that is so common these days. People adopt a smugness and declare themselves enlightened and superior because they listened to a podcast or read some propaganda headlines on social media. It's like people are proud of their ignorance and indoctrination.
This attitude prevents them from ever questioning themselves and seeking more information and robs them of any chance of growth and wisdom. It's a common behaviour in children but now it's becoming a pattern among adults too. It's sad to see, but a lot of people seem to be waking up which fills me with hope.
Somebody smart once said that youth is wasted on the young.
The young are ignorant, mewling infants as we all learn upon maturity. We all look back on our younger selves in disbelief how stupid and ill-informed we were. But our younger selves were sure in our arrogance that we knew everything and the generations before us were the ignorant ones unaware of a changing world.
Our culture today fails to adequately educate our young and actively seeks to impede maturity through crushing college debt and the wholesale export of well paying jobs that dont require a four+ year degree and compounds this using the H1B visa program. Our youth are in a perpetual state of childhood. They live at home and dont reach self sufficiency until their 30s--if ever.
Another smart person said that if you arent liberal when you are young, you have no heart but, as you gain maturity, if you arent a conservative you have no brain.
With that in mind it is our governments goal to keep our young ignorant and immature and voting for things that will destroy them.
It is my belief, unlike the tyrants, that our voting age should be moved to 30 years old. Under that age few of todays children understand what they are voting for and are unaware of consequences. Id also vote for anyone who proposed another tier of free education that combines military training with technology training. Kids need to learn real world skills alongside military discipline. It would do them all some good in their lives and help the directionless and those unsuited for college some direction.
As an aside I dont hate kids. I am a contractor and work with kids 16 to 30 years old daily in my employ. I speak from experience. Kids today are complete morons that are arrogant, selfish and lazy.
Good points, lots of wisdom and truth in what you said here. There's definitely an effort to keep people in an extended adolescent state, men especially. Keep people docile, ignorant, and distracted and they're easier to control.
The idea of an educated, organized, and motivated population of fighting-aged men that they don't control is terrifying to the tyrants.
In the end times, many will be deceived. Good is evil and evil is good. Up is down, down is up. Etc etc
Many squishy Christians don’t like Trump because “he tweets mean stuff”, but I am comfortable knowing he is on the right side of God’s ledger based on who his enemies are.
This is a great time to make it right with God as a backup plan for if it turns out that Q is full of crap. That will likely mean the beginning of the end is upon us.
Keep doing it. If it works for you, why isn't that ok? Works for me. I finally understand the belief part. I don't try and tell people to try it. It's for me and me alone. But it's positive and for someone to tell me that I'm horrible because I believe, well, that seems a smite hypocritical when they tell me they believe something about themselves. You know where I'm going with this. Do what you want on this planet as long as you don't hurt others doing it.

I dont see why god would lie.hes a straight g all round

I was told that the Chinese symbol for survival is 8 people in a boat.

Wish my family would come to that realisation.
If that's the case than I'm totally punk ?
Amen. I’ve told my wife the same thing.

Life is literally a battle of Good vs Evil - that’s what the bible is all about
We can’t make our own morals - so the further we stray, the more insane we get
