Almost like big government is totally unnecessary to get the important shit done...
I'd say this is less about secession & more about displaying the responsibility, power, & effectiveness of state & local government. For too long Americans have believed federal government is the only way to take care of things or tried to use federal government to control other states on issues that are pretty much none of their damn business. States need to take more of an active role, & federal government needs to back the fuck off. Federal government really shouldn't be involved in much aside from military, helping coordinate efforts initiated by more than one state (important point being "initiated by the state," not initiated federally) to increase efficiency, determining if states are violating the constitution, & preventing the violation if they are.
Back to root American values.
Unless you want to talk about secession from the US Corp back to a Federation of States with small central government & no income tax... Then that works, too.
This really is our federalism starting to kick back in. This is great, and it is how we are going to combat the Swamp. We don't want hard succession becuase we should not cede territory to communism. They can live in communes or leave.
I’m very happy they’re doing this and I am also frustrated that they slow walked wall Construction when they were studying eminent domain laws for the past 4 years. I only trust Trump and will trust more representatives when they deliver. Talk is cheap - look how principled Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are now - I understand they’re good at defense but I want to see Patriots acting more aggressively
Texas:
Start a national fund the wall campaign. It is for the entire country's benefit.
Taxpayers:
The only sanity happening in this country is happening in Texas, and they are under attack. Send your Federal Tax Dollars to Texas. Fund the Wall. Fuck the bankrupt USA Corporation, bravo to the original Republic. Fix this country first, stop sending our money overseas for the boomerang political kickback ... the gig is up.
I have some vacation built up. Texas should use the Guard to mobilize in bigg(er) cities and pick up vets to shuttle them to the border for a week or 2 at a time. We'd get the wall finished in months, max.
Hell - some companies or businesses might treat that like jury duty and even pay us while we're serving.
Declare war on Mexico so we can put out military on the border. They can repel all enemy combatants with the full force and effect of the world’s greatest military.
I love it! Dan Crenshaw has been impotently whining about the wall on his Ingraham. Well do something jackass! Glad to see the State Legislatures stepping up. Trump mentioned this in his last speech, there are penalties with the building contracts that are going to cost the tax payers more not to finish the wall then to finish it!
So Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and skank ass California are single handedly ruining our country by letting their borders run amuck. Followed by Nevada, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana the second lines of defense. They haven’t done anything in 30 years. We should kick these states asses.
The rest of the country needs to sue Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California for Trillions and Trillions in damages for leaving US borders wide open for decades.
Build the wall to save us all. God bless Texas!
The soft secession has begun.

As a Texan, I’m all for this.

I love this. In the last few weeks we’ve seen more and more States and their Reps fighting. THAT, my frens, is the American spirit!!!
Boy that will cause some liberal heads to explode lol....Donald J Trump border wall! Love it!
I would give to that. Is there a fund? I live in FL but I would be able to chip in for TX to finish the wall.
YES!!!! As each State tackles “their” hot issues, it spreads and we gain power over the federal government!
Yes! ??More states need to push back & not follow the EOs, directives or law of the defunct US Corporation that Biden is CEO of.
Declare war on Mexico so we can put out military on the border. They can repel all enemy combatants with the full force and effect of the world’s greatest military.
Hope it passes. God Bless Texas.
Why would Texas need to fight back to finish the wall when we all know that patriots are in charge and Trump is still Commander in Chief?
Probably for the same reason that we have to wait while children are still being hurt, instead of taking things into our own hands.
right, well, why is that?
I’m a Texan. I’m in, sign me up!

Come on down to Texas and say that. Pack a lunch.

Optics until some of these actions personally affect you. The mass acceptance of illegals will result in more rapes and deaths.
Ending endless thievery and expelling murdering rapists are not mutually contradictory goals.
But allowing them in en masse to prove a point is irresponsible.
That ship sailed thirty years ago. If another few months were going to make a difference now, Trump wouldn't have strategically lost the election.
