Anyone got a link to the article how this guy pulled his own mother out of the Nursing Home and put her into a hotel before moving Covid patients into the nursing home? Why is no one going after this guy for that? Sounds like premeditated murder to me.
Sauce "Health Secretary Rachel Levine’s removal of mom from care home amid epidemic draws scrutiny" https://www.pennlive.com/news/2020/05/health-secretary-rachel-levines-removal-of-mom-from-care-home-amid-epidemic-draws-scrutiny.html?outputType=amp
I'm searching out a lawyer since my mom died alone in a nursing home in Pennsylvania. I'm trying to find out if a senior staff member at the home who had her mom in there dud so as well. Nursing homes need to be a target of reform by this admin. The one here took mom w o permission nor doctor or court order so they could take her house n money..then I got in their way. Theres nobody to ho to for help against them. They harvest the elderly for their wealth due to filial law that was meant as a stop gap measure for those back then who were elderly but social security did not yet exist in their working years. The longer this unconstitutional law remains nursing home prices will sky ricket the elde t.f ly will be preyed on and then as in moms case starved to death w unjustified claims of cant swallow. It's what they did to her. Niw I'm looking to sue nursing home area agency on aging the governor and this delusional wanna be moistened bink. God help us .
My grandmother had 3 of the 4 stroke signs when my mother called the doctor at about 7pm at night. The doctor said, "Have her take some Tylenol and call me in the morning" (seriously, those were pretty much the exact words!). Well, by the morning, the stroke had done it's business, and my grandmother was placed in a "long-term care" facility, where her remaining net worth was drained before she died about a year later. Turned out the doctor was on the board of directors, or possibly just a share-holder, maybe both, of the facility. Of course this is at a minimum a conflict of interest, but I believe blatantly criminal. Florida laws were changed decades ago so that medical malpractice lawsuits are meaningless if the patient is over 70. It's totally disgusting what the doctors and lawyers have done in FL!
I’m so sorry to hear this. Keep us updated. I pray you find justice.
We here in PA have had this question for months.
HOA president is invincibility.
