I do miss the days when Congressman Trey Gowdy from South Carolina would grill those in government on Capitol Hill when they didn't do their job or were not being accountable to the American people. I could see him grilling the CDC director on live TV over their guidelines that have led to massively inaccurate COVID-19 death counts had he stayed in congress today. He really grilled Crooked Hillary over the Benghazi scandal as well as Gina McCarthy when she was Obama's EPA administrator during the Flint, Michigan water crisis. I don't know that we have anyone left in congress that is as knowledged about the law as Trey Gowdy was who'd be willing to grill the CDC director as well as other bureaucrats in goverment over other issues as well. I would like to see if at least one of the new people coming into congress in 2022 might be similar to Trey Gowdy as far as legal knowledge and experience.

He was full of hot air. In the end not impressed. He talked the talk but never walked the walk. His name among political bloggers is Rooster Head. He only loves to hear himself talk.
He is compromised. When they had the Benghazi hearings, the DS got to him and the whole thing went away and he now refuses to discuss the matter. He is also a member of the black eye club. It is hard to survive in DC and not have the DS twisting the arm in one way or another. A person themselves may have nothing to hide, but there is no guarantee the swamp can't get to someone close to you.
He also said when referring to fisa abuse “there us no reason to go all the way up to obama with this.”

I really do think he was threatened - either himself or his family. At least that is what those closest to the Benghazi hearings are saying. It is like he suddenly took a 180 and shut it all down. They were very close to blowing the lid off of all of it. What he has done since then may be a different story. Once he sold out, he went along to get alone. Once you cave, they got you by the nads for sure.

He was good at grilling, but that's as far as he ever got. He was a huge disappointment to me.
Yea he was good at that. I seem to remember him on 1/6 or 1/7/21 mentioning something about nonexistent elecrion fraud. I could be wrong. But that did it for me.
I loved listening to him prosecute the other side. He's gifted for sure. And probably a lot happier where he is now!
