On a more serious note:
Vitamin D deficiency is common in people who are older, people who have a body mass index of 30 or higher (obesity), and people who have high blood pressure (hypertension). Vitamin D deficiency is also common among Hispanic and Black people. These groups have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. These factors also increase the risk of severe COVID-19 symptoms.
It comes as no surprise that people that are overweight or obese are hospitalized for Covid more often than others, because they are also more likely to have low Vitamin D levels.
Studies show that patients with lower vitamin D levels who are diagnosed with COVID-19 tend to have worse outcomes. One of these was published last month in PLoS ONETrusted Source. Researchers found that people hospitalized for COVID-19 who were deficient in vitamin D were more likely to have severe symptoms or die from COVID-19.
Make sure you are taking your vitamins, but most particularly at least 4,000 iu per day in Vitamin D3. Then... refuse to eat the doughnut.
Well, there's that. I went on a vitamin kick back in the 70s and took a lot. I thought I might save on food because I had a crummy job. I had also read a book about taking vitamins to help brain function. Yes, I took a lot of B vitamins and yellow piss for a while.
Vit D pills are next to a waste except for extreme situations. Save your $ and go vacation in the Florida pandhandle, lay out on the beach and do it right.
Not at all true. I can tell a HUGE difference when I supplement and when I don't (especially during winter). My periods are more regular, my mood is better, I have less anxiety, and I don't get sick. I take 70,000 IUs a week during the winter/times when I don't go outside much.
aah, I deserve a doughnut once in a while! ; )
I get my sunshine and take my vit D though not 4000 level.
Dough nut = nut made from dough. As a maintenance type, makes sense.
Don't forget that Vitamin D3 is only fat soluble. That is, you will not absorb it without pairing fat with D3 consumption. Eat it with something oily or fatty.

I saw the vid that referenced this and bought load of vitamins B complex, C and D.
Virtually sat in doors and neglected my diet, weren't allowed to go the gym or get a tan.
They know what they're doing to make the effects worse if you catch the China virus
Be advised that taking more B than your body requires is a waste, as the excess just gets pissed away. And it makes your piss bright yellow.
But how else will I remember that I took it if not for the neon yellow pee? :)

Not true. Especially if you don’t live in a sunny place and work indoors.

Fat people don't like being hot or uncomfortable, do they avoid The Great Outdoors as much as possible. Diet contributes to this, too.
The spiral of death. Then again, you can look like me and still have a near total blockage in a coronal artery.

Eating wheat blocks the absorption/metabolism of vit d3 from food and sunlight. Not gluten but wheat itself.
