During the Suez Canal blockage I posted that the captain of the 'Ever Given' remained unidentified. Here is an article specifically about the CREW of the 'Ever Given' and the captain is not mentioned. How the hell is that possible?!?! THE IDENTITY OF THE CAPTAIN OF THE 'EVER GIVEN' REMAINS A ???

The 'Captains' (as always in the Suez) were the Egyptian pilots who navigate that 5x a day. They board with their own crew and go back/forth. BOTH have 25+ years experience apparently.
“You pay a fortune to go through the Suez Canal, about a $100,000 to $300,000 and you have to take on a Suez pilot. The canal authority says you have to take this crew on board,”

Your assertion that the captain of the ship is not responsible for the ship and conveys command of the ship to the canal pilots (experienced as they may be) to navigate the canal is incorrect. True, two pilots board the ship at great expense to the ship's operator. However they give professional recommendations to the ship's captain (who by law must be present on the bridge) and give the actual orders to navigate the canal. Fren, it seems we have sources that present different narratives regarding the command structure of a ship during passage. I would offer in support of my argument that the ships insurance company, Lloyds of London, is set to pay claims up to $100 million. If command of the ship is conveyed to the canal pilots who are responsible to navigate the canal I would imagine Lloyd's of London would suggest that they are not liable for the blockage and subsequent monetary damages. Thanks for your input and your shared interest in this event, Fren.
You have a classy way of calling someone out or disagreeing without hyperbole. I will use this method too fren
Thank you, Macho_Maam. Your comment means a lot to me. We're all here just doing the best we can to understand.
Thank you for your articulate comment. It verifies what I heard from other's that have expertise in this area.
You're welcome, mac1221. I'm no expert but, I'm doing all of the research I can to understand why the identity of this captain hasn't been revealed. I'm not interested in busting this guy's (or, gal's!) balls, either. It is either a really good reason (white hats!) or, more of the usual from the MSM and they are in lock step to protect the captain's identity. If I were to hazard a guess as to why it would be 'diversity' over 'merit.' Same path the US Navy is currently on by all indications.
It is rather curious as to why this captain has not been thrown under the bus - unless the time is needed to concoct a story. Past shipping accidents have wasted no time in outing those in command as a scape goat. The fact that this captain is still under wraps is not the normal course of business for sure.
Captain was a diversity hire
Would be nice if you have a source for this.

Thanks for this. I will be careful taking this as the truth considering its on Washington post. Everything we have learnt about fake media makes me think that while this could be the truth, it could also be a spin - to what purpose I honestly don't know yet. I don't think any Anons have cracked the reason why the whole episode happened and the real truth lies in the real reasons for that.

Thanks.
I also grabbed this excerpt from the article from WAPO that you provided as a link.
"Contrary to their titles, the pilots do not actually steer the vessel in the Suez Canal. The pilot serves more as a consultant, using his experience and practical knowledge of the canal to give advice, for instance on how to maneuver the vessel or what course to steer.
The captain has to be present at all times on the bridge and give the orders to the helm, to the engines and tugs, taking into account the pilot’s directions, according to international maritime law. The captain has to keep the pilot informed of any problems with the handling of the vessel “so that the pilot might be in a position to give better advice to control the navigation and movement of the vessel,” the law reads. Ultimately, “the responsibility falls completely” on the captain, it adds."
That should all be on the voice data recorder then.
Especially since the ship was traveling at twice the speed limit of the canal, at 15 knots.
Right?! The Ever Given has a top speed of 22 knots so, it was really moving. Another GA Anon posted up a graphic of the windspeed that day on the canal as a rebuttal to the reasoning presented that the 'high winds' caused the problem with the ship. I wish I had grabbed a shot of that.
I'm expecting a story about how one the crew-member's children took over the ship's controls.
Don Giovanni, I would prefer your narrative of innocence gone awry to the more probable scenario of adult knuckleheadery. I'm sure Francesco Schettino of Concordia fame is mildly curious, too.
Joyriding... in a container ship... those crazy kids...
Hard to reconcile the wild ride into the Canal at 13 knots with experienced canal pilots.
Yes. I'm waiting for that to be addressed, too!:)
Thats notable. Whoever did such a massive fuckup(assuming It was just a fuck up,which It wasn't), should be on the news 24/7
When it first happened, I remember seeing a headline saying it was a woman.
That would not fin MSM narrative that EVERYTHING bad that happens in the world is the fault of a straight white male.
I thought I did too but can't find anything now.
When it went down 8kun anons dropped this :

And her quote of JFK:

Haven't seen much else re:Marwa.
Me neither, Fren, me neither. Frustrating but, an excellent example of the MSM and journalists (yeah, right!) falling in line to protect.
The 8kun drop is hopeful. Thanks, Fren.
Yeah really suspicious how suddenly it became a news about the "indian" crew.
Ever Hidden.
When it first happened a picture of young Egyptian woman was in a few articles but havent seen anything since last week.
I saw that and called bullshit immediately. So fake!
I can't find the ship's master but this site names the two canal pilots on board... I wonder which one drew the DickButt...

I'm reminded of the Norwegian big boat destruction where the captain too remained unnamed. Girls or trannies, betcha anything.
