2,000 iu's per day of Vitamin D3 should be the minimum.
I take C, D3, B-Complex, E, Zinc, Melatonin and Selenium.
5000 IU should be a safe amount but there is such a thing as too much.
What if I take 2 D3 (2000 iu each), that makes 4000iu total per day. Does that work?
That's what I do, one at a time over two meals. Gel tablets absorb better.
I get twitchy, restless and irritable with anything above 1000 and I live near the Arctic. Calcium acts as a stimulant and it's easy to overdo it. Local doctors recommend 400-800 which seems to work for me.
uhhh whuhh? are you part mole?
Right, but 2000 is likely way too little. Unless you're a skinny teenager.
We replaced our melatonin use with magnesium citrate before bed and its been fantastic.
Good to know bc I have been using melatonin now for almost a year.

All of the RDAs are grossly lower that what's needed.
The RDA's simply stand for what is needed to prevent deficiency conditions, like rickets or scurvy. What people need to thrive is much higher.
