I'm holding off for as long as I can. My fear is jabbing me when I'm under anesthesia.
No trust, too many errors in my medical records. They put on my records a 'do not resuscitate' order when I specifically told them my family and lawyer have my end of life instructions, only they can decide
Grandmother was forced to before they would do her hip replacement surgery.
I was pissed, and forced probably is the wrong word because when I called the doctor asking how he could hold a scheduled surgery hostage he claimed he didnt do such a thing and that my grandma willingly agreed.
I talked to my grandma about this because she is old and maybe confused but she was 100% against it, and her church group was a good support for this. She said he told her that because of covid, if she didn't get the shot she would have to wait a few months and her surgery would be delayed. Because she was in so much constant hip pain and she refuses meds because her daughter (my mother) commited suicide on pain killers, she agreed to get vaxed to get a sooner surgery date.
They probably get away with this bullshit because they don't outright refuse service, but make it inconvenient for those who do not play along.
On a good note my grandma survived her jabs with little to no reaction, and isn't concerned with long term effects because she is 78 and looks forward to meeting her husband in heaven which was her reason for not taking the jab. She is one who said to me when all this covid crap started, "Please do not stop visiting me because you think I will get covid, If I get it and pass I get to see Jack sooner! My church friends say they are lonely and family doesn't visit anymore but promise you will come?!"
Anyway personal anecdotal story about how they are strong arming people to get vaxxed.
You're grandmother has a lawsuit against that doctor. It's a violation of federal law to force or coerce a person to take an experimental drug or in this case and experimental procedure. Call a civil rights lawyer and bust the docs ass! Own him!
I have to have some medical tests on the 18th....I was contacted today about that. The woman asked me if I had received my vaccination, I asked her if she received hers (she said yes) then asked me again, I told her I was in the control group and that the study of the current experimental vaccine would not be completed until 2022-2023. Since this was medical information that was being collected under a study I wasn't at liberty to discuss the particulars with anyone. Kek
She made my appointment, wished me a nice day and hung up!
I’m curious to know what would have happened if you hadn’t told her that, would you have been denied your tests until you got vaxxed? I’m glad she didn’t press the issue and that you’re getting your tests done.
I'm not getting vaxed and would have gone to another state that is "open" and not pushing this. I currently live in a deep blue state. I understand that my decision may have repercussions as we wade through these muddy waters but I am firm in my resolve....thank you for your response..
They can't force a medical procedure, if it's an elective surgery look into states that have said no to the vaccine passport, more than likely Florida wouldn't require it.
At least one major hospital in Newfoundland (Canada) is requiring proof of vaccination for medical procedures, as of a month ago. Roughly two months ago, proof of recent negative COVID test was sufficient.
In Texas, they do make you take the covid PCR test, to show you don't have the virus... but otherwise you can have any surgery necessary.
The hospitals in Houston area have a very strict NO VISITOR policy.
No visitors are even allowed on the hospital floors or in the elevators. You can pick up or leave whatever you want at the front desk and staff will bring it to the patient's room.
Other states might have different policies, but they can't force you to take an experimental "vaccine".
This is just where it's heading. Your friend sees the future we are going toward.
Vaccines CAN NOT be mandated if there is a cure(s). That's why Trump was pushing the hydroxychloroquine.

Arkansas here. Had surgery on April 16th, and no test and no vaccine questions.
I love Arkansas. Sarah HS will make a fantastic governor.
Yeah she will! ??

I had a friend that went into the hospital for hip replacement. They made him take the two vac shots.
He said it was the hardest decision of his life, but he needed the hip fixed bad so he took them. I said it's been nice knowing you.

Wouldn't doubt they would require it in Orange County, Florida! They're already making a big scene about the Governors new law that he just signed!
Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, had this to say :

snipped from the article from Association of American Physicians and Surgeons
Even though the FDA granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for three COVID-19 vaccines,
they are not FDA approved to treat, cure or prevent any disease at this time.
my wife just had dental surgery...had to take covid test ...thats it.......

It probably depends what city state

yes, but if they did it against your will while you are out? During surgery there is no one to keep them from doing it.
I think I would probably die shortly after getting vaccine just knowing that my body has that modifying agent running through my system lol.
