Why not complain that the birds sing and that fish shit in the sea? This is a natural easily predictable reaction that was either allowed to happen through incompetence or the desired result.
Either way, the blame lies squarely with the people in charge, not our fellow Americans, you gotta stop thinking like this.
Stupid people watch news. News says shortage. Stupid people rush out and panic buy. Shortage due to panic buying. Media laughs and runs stories on shortage.
I thought it was funny how people were hoarding the TP. I would have worried more about stocking up on non perishable foods. I can always find something to use for TP. That was one of my least worries.
We need to start a media thread saying that there is an ongoing shortage of oxygen in the atmosphere. All these gas and TP hoarders will start hyperventilating, pass out - and hopefully die....
If I were a socialist supporter I would point at this shit and go "oh too bad you guys just aren't ready for utopia" and then I would disappear make it look like I didn't lose . s/
At the end of the day, people are making decisions that they believe is best for their family. Yes, the TP hoarding was dumb, but in light of everything that's gone on, I find it so hard to judge people when issues like this come up.
And you know? It's likely that many aware people are contributing or maybe even driving this, because they know what the reaction is gonna be & are taking precautions themselves. I certainly did. Last year I ran out of TP and BARELY got some. That wasn't happening this time.
Florida does not get it's gas from ships. Most comes by rail. Ships carry crude. And even if we did, where do the ships get the supply from? Doesn't the pipeline deliver to the refineries, and the Racks (distribution facility)? No states get the gas directly from a pipeline.
I never said Florida has a pipeline at all. I've lived in Florida for 65 years, and all the gasoline I have ever see come into the state is by tanker truck or rail car.

If you were a prepper you wouldnt worry about shortages
Go down and have lunch at Lesters on 84 and watch the tankers rolling out of Port Everglades.
Thanks for the diner tip!

My theory on people; 80% are barely functioning idiots....15% use common sense....5% are gifted
Well, look on the bright side. TP does not explode from one little spark.
I suggest people start celebrating the 4th of July a little early this year... let's see what happens.
Pro Tip: if the final result doesn't end up looking like a Michael Bay movie, you are "doin it rong".

We got gas down here...it’s cool
I never fell for the "buy all of the toilet paper" hysteria. I always wash my ass after taking a shit, so toilet paper is not of urgency to me.

You are incorrect! Fl. only has natural gas pipelines Ask anyone who lives near a Fl port! I have relatives near a port

Tanker trucks haul it from the ports, not inter state
