A much more realist conspiracy would be that his doctor was an agent sent to slowly poison him into becoming insane. Or the doctor might have been loyal but just stupid. Either way it explains why over just a few years Hitler went from mad genius to just being an uncontrollable lunatic. Heavy metal poisoning and/or syphilis etc will do that to a person.
A possible third option is that the doctor was loyal but was getting advice from people that were not and more importantly people that knew the side effects of things like mercury but the doctor did not.
