Tonight, over wine and soft music, my husband and love of my life told me he is torn between my vehement desire for us to remain unvaxxed and our daughter's desire for us to get the jab. Our daughter is a pharmacist and insists the vax is the right thing to do. I am a mom and wife and I insist that we should not go down that road. Hubby is caught in the middle. I can only hope he sides with his one true love, but he is wavering. I can feel it. I am heart sick that she took the shot but I believe in free will. Scary times for sure. Pray.

My sister is a pharmacist and suffers from being-smarter-than-everyone-else-itis and she took the vax, had terrible complications, and just called me to tell me that she just got out of the hospital for uncontrollable bleeding due to miscarriage.
So. There ya go.
I believe this scenario is what 17 meant by words to effect that the end won't be for everyone. There is tragedy and sorrow in my world too, my daughter, only child, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, all falling victim to this planned genocide. Every time I hear the MSM, celebrities, sports figures and politicians advocating to get this "vaccine" I want to scream, "Call it an Experimental vaccine!!!" Give people a chance to question it. I know, it's futile, never gonna happen. Condolences to all who've been affected by this diabolical evil.
Lie... tell her he did
Yes! Definitely. That's what I would do.
My daughter knows better than to even go there. She got it, so did her husband. I gave them tons of info but they said they were getting it so they could go on vacation and fly this summer. They know this is the hill I'm willing to die on!
One time in our 39 year marriage, my husband and I were in a situation like yours - he was torn between something with our daughter and me. I told him he had better decide who he married and that if he had a problem remembering, I would be the one to make sure he was served with divorce papers.
We can love our children but we husbands and wives make vows to each other.
Amen
Meh.my children are my blood.
My son as a LPN had too get it since he worked in a hospital ward of COVID patients, but the wife got it, the mother in law who lives with them and can’t wait for 8 yr old son & 4 yr old daughter can get it. They will either all be dead in 5 yrs., or come down with who knows what medical problems and maybe/probably a son who will be sterile and daughter who can’t carry a baby to term. And he is very concerned we won’t take it!
My son and his fiance are planning to get vaxxed. She will apparently "need" it for work. I feel sick about it. My son and I are close and communicate so well on most things-- but here we hit a wall. I know he'll just get frustrated with me if I keep pressing him. But it really makes me ill to think of him getting this experimental jab with so many bad reactions reported. He doesn't believe there's any danger. At one point, he said "Look, I know your politics are different than ours..." The young people influence each other, more than a parent's arguments matter.
Tell him that your not supporting his decision to get vaxxed has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the fact that you love him and are worried about complications that may come from the vax for a virus he has a 99.97% chance of recovering from if he does get it.
Yes, this is my approach. His “problem” is that our daughter is expecting. Due in September. Only vaxed persons are allowed in the hospital for visitation. As he was in Somalia when our daughter was born, he feels a need to be present for the birth of our granddaughter. We are at a crossroads.
This has NOTHING to do with politics. It is SCIENCE!
You don't have to tell me that. My son just said it to kind of end the discussion I think. Like "never the twain shall meet."
I understand your distress. My 80 is + parents got the vax, and we would never. I asked them not to do it but they did, and that was that. I don't understand the insistence by younger people that everyone vax. My friends have been blackmailed (you can't see the grandkids!) and everyone just goes along with it. Is your daughter insisting or is your hubby conflicted?
I'm praying for all frens here...this needs to stop.
I've pondered why so many people who consider themselves 'SO smart, independent and savvy' INSIST on taking the jab and want all of us to take it also!! I can only conclude that the fear porn is SO insidious and they have been SO brainwashed over the years that they simply can't see the truth.
Heartbreaking...
My reasoning for not needing the vax is simple: the vaccine is entirely unnecessary. We have and we have had - for decades - effective prophylactics and effective remedies for covid and for other flu-like maladies. Fauci and his lackeys have done their best to hide the long and successful track-records of these remedies. They have failed.
We have hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. We have ultra-violet light and we have water-treating bleach. We have vitamin D-3 supplements, Quercetin supplements, Zinc supplements and wonderful vitamin C. May Heaven bless and expand the success of our health supplement stores. And, EVERYONE needs to know about "America's Frontline Doctors"
I remain unconvinced that big-pharma can only survive owing to a contribution from me (or because of me). The stockholders, stake-holders and boards of directors for the big-pharma pirates will have to do without me - or they can all just go get a job. I hear that many restaurants are hiring.
If he decides to get the vaccine, maker sure he has his life and health insurance in order and all passwords to accounts supplied to you.
Does your common sense say get the vaccine?
She didn't go to VCU, did she?
Inform her that there is no long-term safety data on the vaccine, and that pharma is immune to liability claims. You love her, but she needs to respect your decisions.
No, she’s an Ole Miss grad. Somehow she thinks her degree trumps anything I might know.
Try having a daughter with 2 science degrees from OU and now in the middle of Physician Assistant school.
She has ears that will not hear and she looks at me like I’m stupid.
And a year from now when she asks me why I never told her all this stuff, I will look at her like she’s stupid.
Ok I know I’ve had a bit of wine, but WTF are you trying to say?!
Lol...totally been there my fren ;-).
God men and women are so damn weak
