Here, commonly, "urgent care" just means you get seen without an appointment, but you go expecting to wait. For a real emergency you'd go to an ER. And even then, unless you're bleeding out, you should be prepared to wait.

I listened to podcast yesterday that really depressed me, starting with Trump gushing about how great his vaccines are. It made me feel quite hopeless. I hope it's just a strategy as you suggest, and not a sign that there is nobody for us, nobody who has long-lasting integrity, nobody who can not be corrupted. here's the podcast:

I live here and I've seen some lines. Not sure it's a crisis.

Took the backs, received the backs-- what are you talking about? Is that a talk-to-text error? If so, I'd say proofread.

I don't have a list ready for you, but when I've looked this up, I often see a chimpanzee component listed as a vaccine ingredient.

Yes, you read that right: chimpanzee. And I have a problem with that! I'm severely allergic to chimpanzee.

Everyone in the stores I go to are masked up. There's no eye contact which is fine with me. But one checker I like at the grocery store, we were chatting a it through our masks and then I said "I'm smiling at you." And she said "I'm smiling too."

It's horrible what the overlords have done to us. Very few people in my area have the guts to drop their masks. Even outdoors which I find hilariously stupid!

You don't have to tell me that. My son just said it to kind of end the discussion I think. Like "never the twain shall meet."

My son and his fiance are planning to get vaxxed. She will apparently "need" it for work. I feel sick about it. My son and I are close and communicate so well on most things-- but here we hit a wall. I know he'll just get frustrated with me if I keep pressing him. But it really makes me ill to think of him getting this experimental jab with so many bad reactions reported. He doesn't believe there's any danger. At one point, he said "Look, I know your politics are different than ours..." The young people influence each other, more than a parent's arguments matter.
