In my early 20s I bought a car. I totaled it like 3 weeks before I was to make my last payment. Heh... Long story, but anyway I had to make that last payment because my grandfather co-signed etc. It still hurts.

Hard to kill a carbed vehicle. EMP, bad gas, accident. Not too much they can't handle. Getting an old J truck myself for a doomsday vehicle

I got everyone here beat.
I was so bad with money in my twenties, that I bought a used car with a title loan for 3k.... The care lasted me for 1 years and I payed on that car for like 8 years because I would always pay late... and my interested rate was garbage.
I finally talked the loan company into letting me junk the car so I could get some cash for it.
5 months later I saw someone else driving the car that I was still making payments on... I knew it was mine because it still had the stupid Vanilla Ice sticker on the back of it that I personally made myself.... :P
I'm embarrassed on so many levels.
