This isn't a doom, but this is a gripe about the direction this board is starting to turn.
First, just want to say, I've been with TD since it's inception. I came to this board immediately after Nov 6 to develop game theory and become brighter while expanding my thinking from the contributions of other anons:

Too many lame, repetitive, attention seeking posts about "I finally got some balls and took my mask off today! Go me, right guys?!" No. Not go you. I'm glad you finally found some courage, but honestly, I could care less and I don't understand why sometimes those types of posts are stickied on the front.
Too many vaccine posts. Yes, we get it, it's an unverified act of war. That's why we're all here. People are dying, that sucks, but unless its a prayer post, can we focus on actual published data and not so much hear-say?
I feel like this board became a place for normies that recently awaken to shoot the shit and bitch, instead of connecting the dots and looking out for proofs.
Sorry for sounding like a bummer, but we shouldn't lose sight of why this board exists.

Although, it kind of seems like at this point in the timeline, we're on hold. We're just sitting here on the sidelines, watching the clown world get even more insane so it starts to shake people awake, like there's not a whole lot that we can do except.... wait. We need more numbers (of people who are awake), and nothing seems to be waking people up, so things are just getting exponentially more insane as time goes on. It's like we're just watching and waiting and wondering what is going to be the breaking point for these morons. What is finally, FINALLY going to wake them up so we can get on with things...?
True, it could partly be due to the fact that we're just sort of on standby for the time being. The calm before the storm really comes bearing down. I'm sure within a couple months time frame the tune will change and we'll go back to focusing on more important things.
Still, I agree with OP that I would like more higher quality content again. I'm being honest when I say that something like half or more of the posts I see on the front page don't really interest me all that much because they've been beaten to death already or are just come across as attention seeking.
I don't disagree with the general sentiment. High quality posts, i.e. longer discussions with supporting information, are often not seen (stickied). Low quality or "feel good" posts are often rewarded.
This is more of a mod problem than a poster problem. If people can up their game score by posting stupid shit, they will post stupid shit.
I don't agree that posts should be limited, but I do think more focus should be placed on making high quality posts visible, and not putting feel good posts as high as they are. This all by itself would probably take care of the problem.
Posts should only be limited to the community guidelines (imho) -- that being said; I would consider my (this) post for removal if I was a mod; I contributed nothing except to complain about low quality posts. =/

Maybe its b/c digging and spending time research an original post seems pointless. It doesn't fucking matter. We are waiting and hoping the Q team comes through. More research gets us nothing. I mean it is mathematically impossible for biden to have won, yet here we are.
So people post stories about how they are fighting back in their own way. For some that means taking the mask, for others it is more than that. Everyone pushing back in their own way is important.
Right now we are living in clown world. We need each other, we need to know we arent alone.

I disagree. Research = quality posts, depending on the effort of said research. This is literally a 'researchers' board. To suggest there is no longer any value in it is pretty disingenuous considering anon's research brought you here.
I agree, but I am personally over the entire mask thing. I'm sorry if this sounds shitty, but I don't care if someone decided to finally wear their mask over their chin instead of over their mouth/nose while they were out grocery shopping. Some people have literally been going maskless since the beginning. It has nothing at all to do with Q or Q research regardless and frankly, I'm not a fan of having to sift through 'mask posts' to find some juicy loot.
If you are here, on this board, then you are not alone, period. So to feel the 'need to know we/you/I aren't alone', sorta comes off to me as someone seeking attention.

I haven't worn a mask but once to go in the hospital for my son's surgery. But, I did not go inside a store from July to May, my area is fully compliant, it wasn't worth dealing with store owners or patrons, my wife went or ordered online. But, at least my kids saw that I would not wear one. I know it doesn't have to do with Q, but this covid thing has mind fucked most of our country. Mask mandate lifted in NC and still 80% wear them in the stores in surburbia. I can't help but think the entire covid BS will end up being part of the great awakening.

Good point, well made. It is easy to become distracted in this and let satire sit alongside fact when dealing with difficult subjects- it is important to remind each other to focus on the positive accumulation of knowledge here- a well constructed and thought out meme with comedic value is of course an excellent tool, but of limited use on a platform where all are already awake.
An important and necessary reminder that even in the quiet times when it seems nothing is happening- dig, dig and dig some more.
I use a lot of the memes on other platforms (ones I haven't gotten banned from yet) and find some are very effective...plus they give me a giggle!

Can confirm, I came over here from TD when it soured after 1/20 and from what I've gathered, so did a lot of people. I've tried to do my best to listen far more than I talk, though.
I'm not shitting on reasonable discussion, but I remember coming here and this place was littered with juicy sources and intel. Not so much anymore I'm afraid. =(

My take on this is as follows. First, nice thread OP. Well thought out imo. Now as far as being on hold, low quality posts or threads and newly redpilled folks "shooting the shit and griping". We're on hold because people are waking up. They're waking in mg up for many reasons. On sub stonks its GME, AMC and AllTell. Others it's the soaring gas prices, food prices, utility bills etc. What ever the reason, they are waking up. We the already redpilled are supposed to guide them to the proper "rabbit holes" to explore. Sure they're going to piss, moan, bitch and gripe. We're supposed to guide them. My take. Peace and blessings to all frens...
