Masks and lockdown did NOT stop shit. The flu still ran rampant, they just changed the name to the scary "covid-19".

I'm thinking there were a lot of false positives where people didn't even have anything. Those would be all the "asymptomatic" people. I'm sure covid is real but it's not any worse than the flu. Money played a huge role in the insane false numbers we had.
Also, do you think vaccines play a role in the flu season? I noticed the flu shot was not being pushed at all this last year because it was all covid covid covid.

I definitely had A coronavirus in January 2020. Whether it was covid-19 is open to debate but I had all the symptoms apart from shortness of breath (afaicr). At the time I simply thought "flu". My wife did not get it, even though we shared a bed.

My question is where did all the asymptomatic people getting tested come from??? Why get tested if you're not sick??? It just doesn't add up.

If you know anyone who worked in the hospitals that were hit, you wouldn't say this.
Hospitals were PAID by the government (OUR tax $$$) to report for covid positives and deaths. All other surgeries were "forbidden" because of the so called danger of covid (seasonal flu).
Scientists and medical personnel ARE capable of lying. FFS.

If the "bottom line is $$$" this argument makes no sense at all. Hospitals make way, WAY more money on the types of procedures they had to stop doing because their beds were filled with Covid patients. All the big hospital systems lost hundreds of millions due to Covid.
If you knew the very first thing about medicine, you wouldn't have said that.

I had two people come in to see me and sit right next to me once, both wearing masks and sniffling and coughing. I asked them to sit farther away since I was about to take a trip to the US and can't afford the doctors there with no insurance.
They said "DON'T WORRY, WE'RE WEARING MASKS!".
I had a cold or flu or some kind of shit the next day. Luckily I had time to go to the local doctor to get some medicine before the flight.
People here think masks work, so when they're sick they just wear masks and go out anyway instead of staying home. Then, everyone around them gets sick and they still think masks work...
They laugh at me when I tell them this story.

Have you ever been there? It's densely packed. Like many many many many times more dense than most any place in the US.
Social distancing would be literally impossible in most places.

Yes, I have. They have been fanatic about testing, and their death rates vs expected death rates line up. The only difference between them and us is that they wore masks almost religiously.
You don't know how many they had, obviously. The CDC has been REPEATEDLY ADMITTING the ACTUAL COVID CASES are VERY VERY LOW in number.
They also cannot hide that in the last week of May last year, nearly EVERY SINGLE FLU *AND PNEUMONIA CASE in the United States VANISHED.
