I work for Bass Pro Shops in Anchorage Ak and yesterday 6/5 corporate sent out updated mask guidelines. If you've been jabbed or if you've had covid and thus the Natural immunity to fight it, you no longer are required to wear the face coverings. Also they are Not requiring us employees to provide Proof of Vaccinations or proof from your Dr. it's all on the honor system. Sadly there are still a few that still wear wear it out of Fear of those scary variants lurking about. What a glorious day it was not to havd that plastic face shield on anymore at work-We are Winning!

Mate here in Korea any type of mask, no matter how flimsy, is considered to be hazmat suit level personal protection. It drives me nuts!
I would have liked it mote if they issued a simple statement saying “Fauci lied about masks. Ditch them immediately if you want to.”
Yeah, Walmart expects us to "act with integrity' because they know if they try to make us prove it they're crossing ADA and HIPA and opening themselves up for a lawsuit.

I'm a fisherman as well and I hear ya. It's hard to buy local or even USA any longer, especially for spin gear. Fly is only slightly better.
Its all because Amazon cleaned up the retail money all of last year. The box stores lost their asses. They wont do that again.

On the flip side, the local Bass Pro recently got on the gouge train and raised the prices of their ammo after long being one of the few holdouts to keep their prices reasonable. Shame.
Isn't that based on theor prices from their suppliers? Last time I went shooting I was limited to 4 boxes of .223 that were overpriced because they were scarce.
We were at wonders of wildlife inside the main bass pro the other day and the only employees wearing masks were the ones working with food.
