So i have a theory that the face masks were strictly kept around for hiding identities during last years riots.
Do you guys think this could be found to be true through an email drop at some point or maybe it could come out as a project Veritas investigation.
I think it was to dehumanize people. The average person won't strike up a conversation with a stranger in a mask. China has been doing it for decades.
I think that’s a relevant reason. Additionally it’s part of MK ultra programming, dehumanizing slave culture acceptance. Abs oxygen deprivation reduces thinking ability. Masks served so many purposes except the one they claimed they served.

Reasons I've heard for masks:
To stop the virus To restrict flow of oxygen To increase levels of co2 breathed in To symbolise not having a voice To cover the identity of conspirators To cover the identity of child snatchers To cover the identity of children To provide the optics for the pandemic To gaslight the population in believing they are the problem To enable deep faking of replaced high level personal/cover identity of fakes
And probably many other reasons
None of the above matters. Masks don't work to stop viruses. They have never been suitable for that task. No matter what the truth is, the only worthwhile reason to wear them is the one thing they can't do effectively.
You gave a lot of reasons, all of which i see feesible. I also think if they could have taken this further, they would be using facial recognition software on the CCTV from stores to see who the resistance leaders would be.
The government does mess with people that it sees as a hinderance to their plans. I bet you conservatives get audited by the IRS exponentially more than liberals.
Oh yeah I heard that too, Chinese facial recognition to see who isn't falling in line. Tbh I think most of it is just to prolong the justification of it, rather than specifically sinister reasons. People wear masks for certain job roles on a daily basis without much harm, so the actual wearing isn't an issue.
What this really shows is how easy it is to get a large portion of the population to do something completely unnecessary without having them question why

I see it as the following:
a muzzle to keep you quiet
a symbol of your subservience/submission
a means of dividing the people and ostracizing the non-masked
They were simply to serve as a constant visual reminder that we were supposed to be in the middle of a pandemic because without anyone actually being sick and nobody's in the street nobody even remembered that we were supposed to be scared
Exactly. Without the constant reminder to “be afraid”, it would have passed by just like the last dozen “___ flu” scares where all anyone really did was avoid sick people and maybe wash their hands a couple more times per day and hope they didn’t get sick. With every sheep scared, they could chip away at liberties and the economy while people cheered on about how necessary the government overreach was to save us.
The hidden identity is a side affect, IMO. I think the masks were meant to instill fear and conformity through peer pressure. No one wants to become youtube famous for giving a four-finger throat punch to some purple-haired, skinny-jean clad soy-boi screaming "you're trying to kill everyone - trust the science" in the produce section at Walmart so they just put the face-diaper on against their better judgement. hoping that a majority would eventually awaken from the mass-hysteria driven covidiotism we were all being bombarded with from all sides.

Very obviously it worked on many levels:
hide identities of rioters etc
groom the population to accept medical intervention as precondition to participation in public life and essential needs (food etc)
dehumanize
demoralize
And dont forget masks promote bacterial pneumonia, In 2004 or so Fauci wrote those who died from Spanish flu ALSO had bacterial pneumonia.

Yes of course it was to hide identities, same with the ballot workers.
Look around, do you see people dying in the streets like they tried to portray with those early videos from China? Nope. Did you see any sign of a pandemic at all last year, in your day to day life? Nope. What you did see was people wearing masks to constantly remind you that there's a pandemic. Without that constant visual reminder more people might have come to the logical conclusion that the TV was lying to them.
I remember wondering, "those masks are quite convenient for the looters", as I watched the Floyd protests which had me thinking that covid was a scam.
There are many reasons th Cabal would want to mask us all. This being one of them.
It's in the same genus as naked body scanners at airports. Just psychological torture to humiliate people and show who is boss. We have so much power that we can take naked photos of you and force you to breathe in your own waste.
That and to hide pols and celeb identity.
