Did you all watch the video or just read the quotes clipped out of it?
He openly admits he doesn't know. He's been dealing with severe medical issues of his own for 2 years on top of having a wife fighting cancer and struggling with his emerging Christian faith.
Give him a break that he hasn't been able to cut through the propaganda on this specific issue.
I didn't know jack shit about Q just 6 months ago. I began my journey as a disaffected libertarian who checked out of politics after Ron Paul got fucked in 2012, assuming the Deep State had already won and Hillary was going to be installed after Obama. I laughed when Trump won in 2016, but I didn't even vote that year because I was so black pilled already.
I still never paid attention to politics again until I got sent to work from home at the beginning of the scamdemic. I started watching the Task Force briefings daily and all of Trump's speeches. Then I began to realize that nothing the media said matched what was actually being said in the briefings. I began watching Tim Pool vids and quickly realized just how bad the media had gotten during my years of not paying attention to politics.
From Tim I found my way to Crowder. From Crowder I found my way to Bannon (thru Rudy and Don Jr.). From Bannon I found my way to TheDonald. And from the Donald I became a refugee here after Jan. 20th when the dooming kicked into overdrive there (as my intuition kept telling me the story wasn't over).
Since then I have rediscovered my faith in Christ (a journey assisted by Peterson's own psychological breakdowns of the book of Genesis, btw) and become a card-carrying Q-tard.
We need to stop being like the left. All of these guys are playing a role, and leading people TOWARD truth. Even Satan leads people to Christ, as he only exists in opposition TO God, meaning he can only exist if God does.
All roads lead to God winning, and resultantly NCSWIC. We can't start eating our own while we travel down the home stretch, and no matter what you may think of Jordan's opinion in this 4:36 clip out of his thousands of hours of content online, you at the very least can not claim to believe he is a BAD MAN, unless you are blind. You can't fake the genuine emotion he feels for people, and I would bet every dollar I have that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ does not hold this man in contempt...
well said and a level headed approach to the topic. we cant become snowflakes and nobody is perfect but if theyre on our side we should give them our support and when theyre wrong call them out but dont cancel them outright thats how you end up alone
Right, Peterson is still a great and intelligent person who most of us can appreciate and the things he knows about he is top notch expert level with them, but he doesn’t know about everything, no one does and so when he speaks about things that are outside his area we should understand he is a bit ignorant there and that does discount his areas of success. He or anyone else shouldn’t be expected to have expertise in one area just because they have demonstrated it an another.
He is a good person to have on “our side” so the speak and trying the cancel him for not meeting some ideological purity test is what we often make fun of leftists for when we see them “eat their own”.
A lot of what you laid out here is how I feel about Trump. Give the man a break. He figured out how to become president of the USA and the most talked about person in the world. That alone deems respect.
I have a similar tale. What I didn't know is that JP is "struggling with his emerging Christian faith". Is this true, and can you direct me to some videos where this is apparent?
JP Biblical series was a major catalyst to my own awakening ?
Go on youtube and watch his most recent talks with Bishop Barron and especially Jonathan Pageau.
He is still very clearly somewhat stuck in the modernist worldview, and so the lack of material evidence for God still holds him back in his heart. He was raised in an era where God was "dead" (per modernist philosophy), and so his intuition was stunted right from the beginning of his life.
But he is putting the puzzle together backwards, he is understanding through the metaphorical lens that there is value in the narrative of God, and he is beginning to overlay that over the probabilistic idea that if there is a perfect mode of being in the world (aka to live in a Godly manner) that if you have billions or trillions of people over the course of history, eventually SOMEONE is going to do it right, just by pure chance if nothing else.
Now, he is just having to try to reconcile that with the idea that Jesus was historically REAL, that he IS the Messiah, and that prophetic vision is a gift from the divine being of God himself. And he's unfortunately (or maybe necessarily) grappling with this as he goes through the worst pain and suffering of his life.
But I recently was watching Jonathan Pageau talk to another person on Youtube (but I don't remember who it was) about a private conversation he had on the phone with Jordan, where Jordan exclaimed "Jon, what if these stories are REAL?!" LOL
I went through almost the same process as is being described here, but I had a bit of an easier time grasping that final piece, specifically BECAUSE I found my way into the Q community. Jordan is still outside of that. If he was able to pull the shroud from his eyes and see how the Q mythos fits perfectly within the fulfillment of Scriptural end times prophecy (and NO, I do not think and I am not advancing the idea that Trump himself represents the return of Christ - I have a far more nuanced view of the situation which would take me a dissertation to write out), then he would be able to see what I ended up seeing. And once I saw it, I began to have genuine religious experiences which reaffirmed to me that I had found the answer.
I went from being near suicidal a year ago to being perfectly at peace with the state of the world due to this transformation, but Jordan still lives on the other side of the propaganda wall. Until you figure out that the media literally creates a false reality for you, and that you can't trust ANYTHING they say, then you can't grasp the final piece...
So, Jordan has to make the final part of the trek without a guide. Or, I should say, he will learn about the false reality at the same time as other normies, and I am sure he will be able to accept it, unlike many who will not be able to stand as the world shifts out from under their feet.
I wish I could talk to him directly. I wish I could help him get where he needs to go. But I am just some guy on the internet. I don't have the ear of a man such as he...
I actually caught some of that episode with Jonathan Pageau and I noticed the same. What a beautiful and wondrous miracle to witness...the True Great Awakening.
Thank you! What a fantastic story you have! I also followed Jordan through part of my evolution. I'm quite fond of him. I pray that he becomes a full blown Christian.
agreed. he was great in genesis and a lot of the early stuff. wonder if somebody really did get to him. saw him live and it was great. oh well another one down.
for my conservative philosophers my go to has been roger scruton ever since i found him a few years back. much better than peterson, more refined and less rambling and genuinely likeable. too bad he passed - but his content is pretty timeless as its about broader conservatjve ideas not just news stories. if you have an appetite for more 'meat' instead of the junk food of the news cycle then look him up. Roger Scruton RIP
he got addicted to pain meds and when he tried to get off them he had a severe reaction....I give the guy a pass becouse he is still recovering and has been absent through out much of the last year and a half becouse of his health issues. this is an edit... it was anti depressants not pain killers
This one hurt especially; love and respect so much of what he says. 12 rules seriously saved me at a point of horrible depression; his insights into human nature and psychology have always been astute and thought-provoking...but just another reason to ALWAYS double check these fools.
I agree, extremely disappointing to see such statements coming from his mouth, of all people. He probably alienated half or more of his own audience by saying these things.
Exactly. That’s what’s so stupid about it, bc these comments are SO antithetical to the values he usually preaches. So either he has been compromised (money, fear, etc.) , or he really is just another “dr.” that ‘trusts the science’(most ironic/unscientific statement ever) bc its for our own good. Tyranny for our own good is the worst of all.
Really disappointing to hear him say "get the damn vaccine."
I liked a lot of his messages—he's good at arguing with commies, but no matter who you are, it's hard to have faith in someone's judgment after getting the shot and then telling others to get the shot.
The way he says "get the damn vaccine" makes it as if it's a sign of maturity or some sort of rite of passage. It's simply common sense that this shot is dangerous and there are numerous reports even in the mainstream news discussing its dangers. There are thousands of reports of ill effects and all kinds of problems. If he wants to get poked, fine—but the fact is that whether or not I get poked is none of your business.
There's a real trend of everyone telling you to get the shot, even if they have no qualifications whatsoever to make such a statement. I've even seen religious figures saying to get it—why don't they stick to religion? Jordan Peterson is a PSYCHOLOGIST—NOT a doctor. And he's certainly not my doctor—what business does he have telling me to take anything? He should stick to psychological statistics and Bible study.
Despite his clear intelligence and many good writings, it calls into question his own intellect and judgment to make such childish and ridiculous statements. He probably alienated more than half of his own audience with these statements.
Even though I'm frustrated, I'm actually disappointed because it's clear to me that he was such a smart individual. He's written and spoken so much about communism—how can he not see that this is CLEARLY part of the communist agenda? The W.H.O. itself is an out-and-out communist organization.
It's shocking to me that he's done so much research on the Soviet Union, yet he fails to see the parallels between our current situation and what happened there. Insane, disappointing, and upsetting. I thought he of all people would have a sane outlook on this issue.
I have to say... this one hurts because JP's message really resonated with me and pulled me out of a dark place from 2016 until ~today. I'm tempted to think that his medical absence was part of some nefarious DS 'reprogramming' but I usually think the simplest explanation is the most likely one. I think JP may believe that "by any means necessary" is preferable to "the ends don't justify the means".
I think that those two ideas are what our entire culture war / spiritual battle is being fought over. I also think there are perfectly rational paths to arrive at each conclusion. Look at us - we want blood for the crimes committed by the cabal (I include myself in this camp) but our idol/ideal, Jesus, sacrificed himself to sinners instead of slaying them. I have thought that I land in the "ends don't justify the means" camp but I also don't think I'm strong enough to take that to it's logical conclusion, as our savior did.
I remember being put off when JP chimed in on the Brett Kavanaugh hearings - after all the false rape allegations, JP said that he thought it would be best if BK stepped down because of all the bad press, and how people would "feel" about it. This really turned me off, even though I truly think his message is overall positive. He's an imperfect human (and possibly a leftie at heart). We're all imperfect. I have been trying to destroy the bad within me, cultivate the good within me, and adopt the good I hear from others, while deflecting the bad I hear from others. This is a topic where JP and I diverge.
I tend to agree with your sentiments. This disappointing statement from Jordan has generated a lot of mixed feelings in myself, but I agree that we need to try to have some degree of understanding.
Nevertheless, I was really put off by his statement to "get the damn vaccine." I'm gonna have a hard time listening to him for a while... I think he's alienated a lot of his followers with this kind of crap. I mean sadly he is a psychologist at the end of the day... it was nice to think of him as a lone hero, but he may be more like his colleagues than we thought.
I suppose it is also possible, and perhaps we shouldn't be too quick to discount the possibility, that he's been scared of being too forceful on certain issues due to his time in the hospital. Still, that doesn't excuse what he said. If he truly is afraid of some sort of Deep-State reprisal, he could / should have simply stayed silent on the whole issue of the vaccine.
Yeah, this is a rough one to be frank. I guess I'm trying not to "throw the baby out with the bathwater" too quickly. He was almost completely incapacitated for the entire covid nonsense, so his understanding of it is probably skewed - he didn't get to see the BS happening in real time like the rest of us.
He explicitly said in the video that he did NOT support compulsory vaccination. Once again, guys. Watch the video. Don't just read the quotes. It's only 4:36.
Aside from the compulsory vaccination point, I didn't take issue with the rest of your post. He's by no means perfect, and I have my disagreements with him as well.
But he helps more than hurts, by far IMO. He definitely helped pull me out of a dark hole several years ago, and I know many more people whose lives he genuinely saved.
I'd rather have him on our side than not, is all I'm saying. He's a good man if nothing else, and those are in short supply these days.
your last point was the one i thought too when hearing this. "ok so no forced speech but masking orders are perfectly ok" i dont get that i wonder if it has dawned on him this cognitive dissonance. nobodys perfect i guess i still have a soft spot for JP
I have never liked this guy. While he has had useful things to say that apparently have helped people, to me he was always cold and dark. Never radiated even an ounce of warmth or humanity. Also it was incredibly uninformed of him to get addicted to benzos. He apparently has no problem with just following what the "experts" say - look where that landed him. He may have intellectual smarts, but not much common sense. Not my kind of guy.
Anyone with half a brain knows how dangerously addictive benzos are. I think there are several famous people (Stevie Nicks comes to mind) that have talked about how awful the withdrawal is. Couldn't JP have simply googled it before he decided to pop those pills??? Would've saved him TONS of heartache, expense, family stress and drama.
Seems like an utter lack of common sense on his part, especially coming from a guy who gives advice on how to live life properly.
“Peterson openly admits what’s going on amounts to severe and repeated violations of basic civil rights.
In spite of this going on for over a year now, he asks for ANOTHER 6 months to see what happens
Peterson admits the precedent has already been set, and acknowledges that this could be used in the future for another “pandemic”.
Peterson claims to have no special insight into what’s going on. This comes despite hundreds, if not thousands of citizen journalists posting well sourced information all the time.
Peterson promotes mass vaccination, despite obvious concerns such as: (a) lack of long term testing; (b) not being approved, but instead given interim authorization; and (c) indemnification for manufacturers.
Peterson’s “get the damn vaccine” comes across as gaslighting.
Peterson uncritically parrots the narrative that vaccination is the solution to going back to a normal life.
Peterson seems uninterested in the mountains of evidence suggesting that this entire “pandemic” was preplanned a long time ago.
Peterson seems uninterested in researching into the financial interests.
Peterson attempts to steer the narrative with his claim that infectious diseases are the real enemy of society.”
I have never liked him and never understood his following. YouTube continually recommends his videos to me despite me always rejecting them. Anyone who still trusts him after his response to the plandemic is a fool.
Guy was almost dead on drugs. Set up. Trapped. Now comes back and it's all about globalism ;) various big figure heads have been flipped. But they ll flip back whem they can.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Anyone with half a brain knows how dangerously addictive benzos are. There are several famous people that have talked about how awful the withdrawal is.
JP could have simply googled benzodiazepine before he decided to pop those pills??? Would've saved him TONS of heartache, family stress, drama and money. He put his family through HELL.
Seems like an utter lack of common sense on his part, especially coming from a guy who gives advice on how to live life properly.
His mind is mush and it's his own damn fault for not FOLLOWING HIS OWN ADVICE and staying vigilant. Period.
There is a time and place for everything, including listening to JPs advice.
I have nothing but respect for the man and take alot of what he says to heart, however this is not one of them.
Same thing when Trump said he thinks everyone should get the vax, and he did include "people who voted for [me]" in that suggestion.
JPs reasoning here is "so that we can get this over with" which to me is basically saying, "so they can usher in the NWO and take more rights from us based on the precedent set with this vaccine".
“ That he is a psychologist should have raised red flags right off the bat.
That he worked with the UN for 3 years to advance their Agenda 21/2030 goals (end to private property ownership and depopulation), should have at least raised eyebrows.
He should have been asked some really important questions about his UN ties.
We really need to learn to research these people and to be able to quickly identify controlled opposition when we see it.”

If you want to avoid future pandemics, shut down the research labs and put Fauci in the unemployment line. Better still, behind bars!
Fuck him. Fuck Rogan. Fuck Shapiro. Fuck Musk. Fuck Degrasse-Tyson. If only there qas a toilet big enough to flush them all.
Peterson hasnt been the same since they drugged him.
His biblical series is so incredible though.
agreed. he was great in genesis and a lot of the early stuff. wonder if somebody really did get to him. saw him live and it was great. oh well another one down.

Haven’t heard of him. Will check out.
Where’s the best place to find his stuff?
I will thank you.
Yes I heard he had been really sick but article I read suggested he had a breakdown. Drugged?
he got addicted to pain meds and when he tried to get off them he had a severe reaction....I give the guy a pass becouse he is still recovering and has been absent through out much of the last year and a half becouse of his health issues. this is an edit... it was anti depressants not pain killers
I thought it was antidepressants that had him having horrible withdrawals?
Benzos
Benzos
Yeah. He got fucked. Its really sad and twisted what they did to him.
This one hurt especially; love and respect so much of what he says. 12 rules seriously saved me at a point of horrible depression; his insights into human nature and psychology have always been astute and thought-provoking...but just another reason to ALWAYS double check these fools.

I think it is the same reason he is wish washy about being Christian.
He’s flirted with occult stuff but hasn’t jumped all the way in.
What he needs is to trip in his reading room and listen to some Terence McKenna.
Eh hes Canadian, hes gonna be at least a little retarded.
No one can cast stones, except Jesus.
Jordan misses the mark (sins) on this and he's a professional doomer but 12 rules is good. Take the good, leave the bad.

Dr. Cox said it in one of his rants on Scrubs and I have used it ever since.

Part of deprogramming/awakening is realizing that even straight up geniuses get it wrong sometimes.
If you disregard everything thing that is Jordan Peterson because of his current stance on the vax you're part of the problem.
“Peterson openly admits what’s going on amounts to severe and repeated violations of basic civil rights. In spite of this going on for over a year now, he asks for ANOTHER 6 months to see what happens Peterson admits the precedent has already been set, and acknowledges that this could be used in the future for another “pandemic”.
Very disappointing
Wow, JP's ignorance and weakness is on full display for everyone to see.
What a useless sellout.
read the post right above yours i think its a good one
Period.
Good psychologist, bad person.maybe they got to him or his breakdown was the result of great dissonance
Do you have any actual details about his working for the UN? That's a serious accusation which you should backup if true...
You know jack shit
