They are contracted to perform a service for the state senate. The senate has that right. And they also have the right to choose the contractor.
If the contractor then returns results, the senate can use those results in court. There is a reason that it’s called a forensic audit, and that the DNC has 100 lawyers on site supervising. It’s a legal process.
If the auditors are full of shit, and the audit is completely bogus, then the courts will toss them out.
If the audits found boxes that were supposed to contain 10k ballots, and they only had 9k, or the paper was wrong, then I assume the court system may have a problem with that.

Dr. Eastman spent a great deal of time in December and January briefing the State Legislatures on the significant amount of constitutional power they have, but in many cases have delegated it to Secretaries of State and/or Governors. They have the authority and ability to take that power back.
It is weird Garland waited this long to make this threat. The results are going to come out, he can’t stop that, the audit is nearly done. Trying to block it on technicalities will only create a bigger pushback from the people. It seems like a pretty weak attempt at a coverup.
