I do sometimes ponder on overpopulation. Inner cities are out of control with people that don’t contribute to society. Not to take the side of the maniacs, but we’ve all seen the videos of thousands of useless eaters blocking traffic and fighting like zombies.
Exactly. Plenty of space and resources for more people on Earth - there is enough habitable land in Texas to give everyone 2 acres right now. If we didn’t all have to be warped from birth by some form of collectivist superstructure run by less than 1% of humanity - demented sociopathic eugenicists with God complexes - there would be a lot less sloth and much more strive than there is. It is a testament to our humanity that so much is achieved in spite of the dark triads networks.
The only places that are anywhere near being overpopulated are the megacities like NYC and Beijing. Elsewhere, there's more than enough land that can be inhabited without disrupting the environment, even areas that have already been developed, like those empty cities in China.
I would hope pushing out to space could be an answer.
