I think they are really just making up numbers at this point. Many US states have stopped counting and reporting them. The county DOH aren't collecting them, so where are the numbers coming from?

I've thought this a long time. Aliens: movies like Arrival and District 9 are possible examples. Plus the news keeping a constant is there/there isn't evidence in the news. Same as zombie movies, most start with a virus or cancer cure...

I would suspect there are more deaths and injuries since the VAERS reporting system is only filled out by 1% of the physicians when there is an issue. The numbers are way under reported.
