There's a pretty damn solid case for prosecuting police who stand back as terrorist groups instigate, or worse. On multiple instances police have shoved people in safe/defensible positions out into the open where they are surrounded by antifa. The infamous Charlottesville was one such case, maybe the first kind that other domestic terror collaboration activities were modeled after subsequently.
Every case should have merited charges against the police as active participants in the crimes taking place.
