I just so happen to come across this tweet saying how there's a little-known educational code law in California prohibiting teaching communism with the intent to indoctrinate.
Dismantled, all teachers and administrators fired, Boards of Education nuked, laws made to keep the Feds out of education forever and begin from scratch with an emphasis on iron clad local control.
The downside of vouchers is anyone can justify what "education" is.
Can you imagine the liberals' private schooling enabled by vouchers?
And, ultimately vouchers would devolve into needs based assistance.
I can't imagine that progressive private schools would be much worse than current government-run schools.
Vouchers are definitely an improvement on state-funded Marxist indoctrination centers. At least let some people escape.
My preference is no vouchers and lower taxes so that people keep their own money, but that's probably a larger change than most people are willing to make.
I'm with that. You're responsible for your family, you see to your children's education. Fulfil it however you see fit without anyone else's money. If someone else wants to indoctrinate his or her own children with lies about gender or race, it is on them when their children grow up and fail in a world that has no practical place for leftist. A world where people are free, who fulfil their own responsibilities and are not compelled to pay for others' poor choices or subversion.
People go on about the health and fat ratio of "the average American", but it's our flag pasted next to almost as many Olympic medals as all the other flags put together. Freedom results in a wide spread, but the highest highs and everyone has at least some measure of opportunity to reach for those highs-and not just physical highs.
I will say that by having leftists infiltrate the school systems, it was a clever move by the dark side. Not surprisingly, there has been little resistance by the patriots over the past 20 years to combat this effort. I suppose what we are now figuring out, is that “conservatives” in DC were merely figureheads to give the appearance of fighting the goblins.
They knew exactly what was happening to the education system and exposed it in 1952.
They did it again in 1954, put a great big red ribbon on it.

Nothing happened.

Defund all public schools. Replace school funding with vouchers. New private schools will start. Fund students, not systems.
