The CDC has colluded in the virus mess from the get-go, so I don't believe the CDC's explanation. I also know that the PTB use the word 'mistake' as a cover for explaining away the truth they didn't intend to be revealed.
I think the biggest takeaway from this is that you may as well throw out the VAERS numbers entirely. The truth will have to emerge in some other data set(s).

I'd love to see someone go after the Kaiser Permanente EHRs! The reliability of this data is well sorted through, since it's frequently used for public health journal articles. Further, it would have detailed information on in- and out-patient for all age groups.
